You never know, there could be space gorillas.
Hopefully my style of writing isn't too relaxed for you guys.
I get a little worried that I'm not serious enough :x
"If you can move over a little bit, that'd be greaaat."

"It's really too hot for you to be standing right next to me, you're practically on top of me." Zaray announced again to the large creature standing next to her at bar. This place was a cesspool of all types of life, but mostly lower end folks. The place was dirty, hot, and cheap. Perfect for Zaray who had been spending most of her days here since she had caught a ride to Kyralos with someone or another a few weeks ago. Or was it a month?

Time went by fast when you didn't really keep track of it.

The creature next to her paid no attention to the petite human, proclaiming his position was of more importance than hers. Disgusting. Using her elbow she jabbed the creature hard into what she would assume would be around his rib cage. Her elbow sank into the creature, showing that he was more gelatinous than bone. Her eye widened and mouth gaped as she desperately tried to pull her arm from the depths of his body.

Suddenly, the sky was lit up and the bar fell oddly quiet. Something was wrong, very wrong. Explosion and gun fire came from all sides, creating a chaos in the crowded bar as everyone began scrambling. Her arm came slinging out from the creature as he slunk away. "Thank Cryptea" she praised, checking out her elbow which seemed to be just fine besides the covering of a warm goo. Nothing she hadn't experienced before. Rolling up the sleeve of her light weight sweatshirt to hide evidence of her encounter she then took off quickly out of the building into the street where things were even worse that inside. "Whats going on?" she yelled to another human that had been running by her. He stopped, about to speak when a stray bullet slid through his head like butter. Blood splattered the street and the bottoms of Zaray's light cotton pants and heavy boots.

Without hesitation Zaray took off sprinting. The humidity made it hard to breathe and she was thankful that humans were given their own cooling system via sweating. Her forehead drenched as she caught eye of several people racing towards the forest. "Good idea." she admitted, taking into the dense forest. She had avoided this area ever since landing here, but knew plenty who thrived inside this part of the world, so she could at least hide there until she could find a new person to take her out of this forsaken district.
Catching up and will post soooon!

Virginia Henning

A bright yellow backpack was sitting in the lap of the young woman. A barely standing building held a little shelter from the rain. Virginia couldn't believe that just 3 days ago life had been relatively normal. Now there was nothing but disaster and stress. She had hope to find her mother soon in the wreckage, but as the days went by she felt more and more hopeless towards her goal. As the sun came out, the girl decided it was time to get back into her travels. She stood up and threw her backpack onto herself adjusting it on herself as she started walking down the road.
"Wait the others have not been found yet?" Booker said a little shocked, and Quinn replied, "Yeah, I was the first one! You're lucky I didn't rat you out when I had the chance." she laughed a little as they made their way back to the campsite. In her pocket her phone vibrated signaling the receiving of a text message. Hopefully it wasn't Sean trying to be creepy. Letting go of Booker's hand she reached into her pocket and read that it was from Amelia.

To: Quinn
From: Amy
At the camp, come meet us here so we can find Ryan and Harry!

"Oooh, she found Sean!" Quinn exclaimed, putting the phone back into her pocket without replying. They would be back to the campsite soon anyways. [i]"You ever think Sean and Amy could get together? I always thought they'd be a cute couple."[i] Quinn admitted to Booker, as they reached the edge of the forest to see the clearing. Sean and Amy waiting patiently at the other side. "Good job!" the girl called, giving a grin to Amelia for finding Sean. All we have left now is Ryan and Harry." she repeated the mission they were all now starting on.
If she hadn't been nervous before, she was definitely nervous now. The captain's speech was exciting and mysterious, but a bit terrifying. She had a mission to be on this ship, a duty to herself and her family but that didn't mean it had to be a bad experience. People quickly started to disperse, going off on other parts of the ships and even some heading to bed. Picking up her two half full glasses on the side table, she poured one into the other and looked at the odd concoction of wine, rum, and coke that was now sitting in one cup. She took a sip. It was terrible. Though, it was kind of rude to waste the drink she had made. She took another sip. Surprisingly, still terrible. She decided it best to dump it out after all. Rising from her seat she walked back behind the bar and let the mixture slowly be poured into the sink.

"Would anyone like to take a walk around the ship with me? I've only seen this room and the living quarters and I'm sure I'm not the only one". the woman she came to now know named Elvira offered. Emma declined, saying she was heading to bed so Tiffany decidedly piped up. "I wouldn't mind seeing a little bit of the ship before bed myself. I'll come along." she said. Placing the now two empty glasses on the side of the sink and giving a small smile to Elvira, offering her company on this small adventure.
