Name
Lydia Xiong.

Age
Twenty Five.

Height/Weight
Five foot three. One hundred and five pounds.

Personality
Protective. Classy. Selfless. Independent. Loyal. Educated.

History
Lydia spent her early years in a very conservative Chinese American household. She kept herself busy whilst growing up, with multiple after school activities, homework assignments, music recitals, and extra chores at home. In other words; Lydia was quite the over-overachiever. Her parents were only just slightly proud as their one and only "sorta" talented child became Valedictorian of her high school graduating class of over 1,400 students, and was granted several scholarships to high qualifying universities across the country.

Early to rise and early to bed, makes a girl healthy.. but socially dead.

Lydia found this statement to be true quickly out as she started into her university of choice. Her three dorm mates often ignored her and just assumed that the girl would not want to go out with them even if they asked. They never ask. Depression, loneliness, and anxiety overwhelmed Lydia only a few semesters in to her degree. It was at this time, Lydia began thinking more morbid about life's meaning and her self worth. What was the point?

She decided she needed a redo.

She bleached her hair, tatted up, and told everyone that had ever doubted her to kindly fuck off.

After finishing her degree she wasn't too surprised that the world decided to toss back her angst at her in the form of a asteroid hitting the Earth. She was the only one in her family to survive, and one of the few to survive in the whole world. When the flu like symptoms came, Lydia powered through it like a champ, knowing that with enough strength any feat can be completed. It was surely surprising when the new powers came along with it.

The point of life was just beginning.

@Wick

I'm torn between making a character that has either healing aura type thing
or the total opposite and making someone that has a feral mind type/hulk smash power.

LOL.

Help me choose :(
No worries :) I'm not too much of a stickler for timely posts-
Considering I am the absolute worst at it haha.
Thanks for the tag!
You're correct, I'm totally interested :)

I'll get to work on a character here sometime today!
How did we start off with like one girl and several boys
& Now we have 2 boys and the rest girls?

Not complaining Just curious!
The group talked back and forth of their plans of what to do next when it came to the house. The crash of the rock through the window came suddenly and put an ear to ear grin on Gina's face. "You crazy bitch!" Gina said, chuckling to one of her good friends. She admitted she hadn't thought about breaking the window completely in. "I'll go, It was my idea first anyways." Gina moved over to the now broken window as she put a leg through, dipping down and sliding through. It was times like these where her short frame came in handy.

Inside the house the condition was not much better than the outside. A strong smell of mildew and dust filled her nose as she turned to the door. Unlocking the several locks from the inside she opened up the door for her friends outside. "Taah-daaah" she gestured to them coming inside. "It stinks in here though, disgusting." Gina claimed, waiting for all them to come in. She looked towards the ceiling noticing a gaping hole in it. It seemed to be destroyed by water damage, but the discoloration could prove to be any liquid.

Meanwhile..

Within the house five small creatures no smaller than a typical mouse spoke quietly to one another, to the outside ear it just sounded like a small squeak repeating the same sound: "mahlimae, mahlimae, mahlimae." but in their own language they had conversations. "There are people coming. Young people. New people. People coming." they whispered between themselves as they scurried across the dust covered floor, some unwrapping themselves from the layer of mold they were resting in. They climbed under the stairs, peeking through an open slit of broken wood so they could have their piercing eyes watching the front door.

Twenty five.

Hᴇɪɢʜᴛ:
Five foot one.

Wᴇɪɢʜᴛ:
One hundred and fifteen pounds.

Rᴀᴄᴇ/Eᴛʜɴɪᴄɪᴛʏ:

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ:
Easily Manipulated. Friendly. Outgoing. Caring. Stubborn.

Gia is someone that would see you eating lunch by yourself and not hesitate to walk over and keep you company. She is usually the first one to greet you and the last to tell you goodbye. Granted, she might sit down and end up eating half of your meal while she talks to you but she means well, she cares. Gia is not dumb, but can often appear air-headed and aloof based on her social activities and her tendency to go off on a tangent of something that she is passionate about. She wants the best for everyone and herself. However, once a seed is planted in her head or heart to put you as a bad guy, it will take a lot of energy and convincing for her to think otherwise.

Jᴏʙ/Cᴀʀᴇᴇʀ:
Marketing and Sales.

Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ:
Gianna was conceived in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her parents had both been on their honeymoon with their spouses and ended up banging each other's brains out behind Caesar's Palace, or was it a Little Caesar's pizza? Either way, the two lovebirds had put their last relationships in the past and began the whirlwind that was Giovanni and Diane. A couple years had gone by but as soon as the big P word slipped from doctor's mouth, Gia's father had said he had other places to be- and thanks for the good time, it was fun. He even left a "Get well soon" card on the dresser, with about nine dollars in singles.

Diane now was dumbfounded, pregnant, and all alone. She went online and met Franklin (Frank), an older gentleman who was in need of a wife and had a bit of cash to spend. Work was all that Frank knew, work and the bottom of the liquor bottle. The bottles that came each and every paycheck. Despite his addiction, he climbed the ladder and got lucky with a few well known law cases. So Diane decided to leave sin city and try to find a better life with rich man Frank in Brooklyn, New York. She didn't find any greener grass, but when Gia was born she did find out what happiness was again. The two lived in Frank's apartment, growing up together and experiencing what life had to offer without the absence of material goods.

Growing up was smooth sailing for Gia. She was well rounded, liked by most people and an average student. She went to college and graduated with a degree in business. She used it to join a small sales company. While attending a company night out at the bar, she met her current husband; who she loves very much and encourages to follow his dreams no matter what they may be at the moment. She dreams to have a family with him, and give their children an even better life than she had growing up.

Cᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ Rᴇsɪᴅᴇɴᴄᴇ:
Brooklyn, New York

Sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜs:
- Quick witted and sweet talker, making friends with no issue.
- Doesn't take no for an answer when she wants her way.
- Used to run cross country in college, so she has good endurance.

Wᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs:
- She is small and petite.
- Trusts people way too quickly, easily manipulated.
- Afraid of heights, bugs, and rodents.

RP Sᴀᴍᴘʟᴇ:
"You talking about pizza like, you don't think I know about pizza?"

The Brooklyn raised girl retorted to her coworker as they sat together at lunch that afternoon. A look of disbelief on her face, but in a playful way. "I'm Italian and I was raised in Brooklyn, I know about pizza. It's in the freaking water." she commented, as her coworker laughed. "Gia you're ridiculous." she said as the two giggled. Gia continued to fold in half and eat her slice of pepperoni pizza that she had got from the cafeteria. It was not a very good slice but it would suffice. She thought about what she was going to make for dinner that night for her husband and her. It was coming up on their first wedding anniversary and she would admit that was exciting for her. For them.

She reached to her phone that sat on the table, sending a text to him while she thought about it.

Cant wait to see u baby. Treating tonight ;) I love you. Ttyl

Sending she looked up to her co-worker. The two exchanged friendly smiles, continuing their lunch as normal without many more words spoken between them. After finishing her pizza, she wiped her hands with an napkin and tossed the paper plate they had given her in the trash. Crumbling the greasy used napkin along with it. She went back to the table and grabbed her cellphone and walked back to her cubicle where she would start again on her call list to clients. After a few hours of this she clocked out and began her journey home.

Gia never got her drivers license, relying on the subway and bus system her whole life. She pulled her jacket tight around her, adjusting her beanine in the cold March weather that New York gave. Soon it would be warm again, but for now the city still had a crisp chill. Jogging down the subway stairs she slid her card and went through the turnstyle. Picking a seat on the subway she looked at her phone, with no reply from her husband. She let out a soft sigh, before plugging her ear buds into the headphone jack and listening to music on her way home.
