Would love to be apart of this :)
In Just Us 9 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
Is this dead now? :/ Bummed!
So, is this dead and done?
Everyone's character sheet is much more impressive than mine!
I feel like I should go back in and edit it some more :x but perhaps as time goes by.
@MissCapnCrunch

Ah I see, so we're not legless translucent flying bed sheets, just invisible humans. Also, do we get any special powers or do we have to rely on our own natural strength and wit? And is there anything stopping us from interacting with live humans or with the world? I'm assuming we don't get to pass through walls, so would people be able to feel us if we brushed past them or notice our foot prints in the dirt or "see" when we lift an object, if no, then what's stopping us from just walking up to targets and stabbing them? If yes, let's suppose a human somehow finds us and shoots us or something, will we die and not be able to come back? Sorry about bombarding you with questions, just wanna make sure I understand everything.

(Also I forgot to mention, I'd love to join!)

Not legless translucent bed sheets- unless you wanna wear a sheet on your head- then by all means (Not really)

Let me go through the questions and try to answer them:

1) We will be relying on our own strengths and wits. If your person was killed because they were lets say, previously a criminal- it might benefit you in the fact that you're good at trickery, or cunning. If your person was in the military it might make sense that you're strong, or what have you. That is up to you, you might be a "useless" character in one way- but depending on the case you guys are assigned it might be useful. For example; a mother might not be a great character for taking out a sex ring, but she would be good at comforting a child.

2) They will not be able to see you, and you probably could go up and just stab them in reality- but the holder of your soul 'The Mystery Person' who will be revealed at the start of the ooc/roleplay- does not want you to do these things. They want you to bring these souls to death with little to no suspicion of foul play. They are not dead- so if something gets traced back to them, they could get in big trouble.

3) The only way you can die/pass over in this is if you start to not complete tasks laid out by the boss.

I hope this is all making sense, it's something that I am still creating as I go. I'm thinking it's sort of like a business deal in a sense. Your character has died- brought back by this person who is sort of a bringer of death. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Your deal with him is that you get to stay alive if you kill the people he requires of you.
@Witch Cat

Good question!

Ghosts in a sense, but not ghosts. People don't see us, nor hear us- besides one another. Some of the targets will be indirect and others with be very difficult. I've thought of many different situations to bring on different emotions from our characters. Some souls to be claimed will be like an older gentleman suffering in a hospital, a lead boss in a strip club, or a young child. Some of these cases will be harder than others- and it'll be your characters choice to ultimately participate to keep your "life" going- as what it is.

Hopefully that makes sense :)

Also very open to other ideas- this is just a thought i've been throwing around!
