I would have to get close enough to touch them. My power may be incredible, but I'm not." She looked him over with curiosity. "But you seem capable."

Devika blinked as a guy who looked like a tiger walked up. She strengthened her emotional barriers and shook his hand, thankful that she'd worn her thick gloves today. "Hey. Nice to meet you." She smiled slightly. "That was an interesting assignment. There are a lot of people who think I'm dangerous, for some reason."

(Just letting you know, animals tend to not like Devika... dunno what you wanna do with that.)

Devika left the class, lost in thought. So many people thought she was dangerous. She didn't see it. She honestly didn't feel that she was capable of much of anything. But maybe they were on to something. Even John thought she had potiential...

Kijani was torn, between pride and an odd anxiety. So many of her classmates chose her, which was what they should be doing if they were smart. That wasn't surprising. What did surprise her was the fact that Anthony had basically called her out in the midst of all her classmates. It was high praise he'd given her, which was a double edged sword. If Anthony approved of her, so many classmates would disapprove of her, simply based on that. It was a bold move, and she wasn't sure where it would lead.

Devika takes Captain America's fighting class, one on superhero/civilian relations, and the rest I haven't really detailed. Maybe something on power control, if there's no set teacher for that, yet?

That will work, actually. I think part of my issue is the fact that the RP feels disconnected.

Also, I will attempt so hard not to have Jin make fun of Deathstroke, or call him a stupid nickname.

I have to disagree with you, KL. I mean, we're supposed to be a team, right? I've had zero chance to interact with the other members, other players, because we just go from fight to fight. I don't even know who the others are, and the profile doesn't really do them justice. So... yeah. Justice League wasn't all fighting, there was a balance. If you want us to just fight and not get a chance to grow, then we should have played canons that have their personalities well defined, so everyone already knows who everyone is.

The time jumps are what I mean by glossing over. I'm not saying we slow the RP to a crawl, but... the pace is breakneck, and yet nothing is actually changing.

If I want endless battles with limited personality, I'll join a DBZ RP.
