I'm just trying to make Anthony more believable as a character, and also give him a bit more personality. I feel like I tend to ignore the fact that he's human, and treat him more like a machine.

He was pretty stereotypical at the start, but having him fall in love with Sue helped bunches to pad out his personality. His 'mentorship' of Kijani (while I have yet to discover the depth of it) also helps, because in his mind, he really is trying to help her.

THe thing is-- I don't know if it's that simple. Anthony would likely kill if he really, really had to. But he's smart enough to know that killing requires planning, you have to worry about people wondering where the person went, where to hide the body, avoiding investigations and suspicion...

So yes, he could kill someone. But only as a last resort. And even so, he'd hire someone and never have his name involved.

....I realize I just made myself sound like a budding murderer. I'll be over here, thanks.

Kijani dialed up Ben's number, calmly folding up a paper star while it rang. Once he picked up, she spoke. "Evening. Mr. Luthor requests that you give me a ride to the event tonight." She touched the tip of the star with her finger, making sure it was sharp. "Where can I meet you?"

Anyway-- How is Kijani going to know Ben's number or how to reach him?

Can we retcon and say they exchanged cell phone numbers?

After classes, Kijani headed straight home. She took a quick shower to clear her mind, and started preparing her weapons. Her sword was shined and ready to go. She'd spent free time in the past testing various types and weights of paper, and unpacked the different strengths that she may need. These were tucked neatly into a tidy looking portfolio, full of what looked like reports and research. Once she was done with all of that, she called Anthony.
