*nod* Yeah, and I've posted 3 times in a relatively short amount of time. I am quite excited for this RP, but I've also been the one left in the dust because of time issues. Other people shouldn't be penalized for being in different time zones, or having jobs or other things that keep them real busy. I will respond to you if no one else has replied in the next 8 or so hours.
Yeah... you know what else grows? Fungus.

I'm gonna hold off on posting until tomorrow. While I am excited about it, I don't wanna push things too quickly. We have a bunch of other people playing too, and I don't wanna leave them behind. It's a bad feeling for group RPs when you don't feel included.
Let me just apologize now, Dragon... Jin does not play nice with rich folk. Plus, he called her sexy. Where she comes from, calling a woman that is basically saying that a man thinks the 'sexy' one will sleep with him for the right price.

Also, Annabeth, is physical violence a serious no-no? Because Jin, unfortunately, is not above fighting.

I love my girl, but she's a bitch and a half.
Jin paused in her recapture of the cards, looking up at who had addressed her. She was immediately wary- she knew the smell of pot from years on the streets. Some people just couldn't handle the pain, so they got high to get away. This guy's shoes alone would probably buy a whole street meals for a month, and the rest of his clothes were no better. And then, he opened his mouth, and Jin felt revulsion so strong that she actually wanted to vomit. Preferably all over this asshole's overpriced sneakers.

"Get your stinking fingers off my possessions before I commit regicide in front of all these people." Her dark gaze was intense, and her voice was low, almost a growl. This guy was the worst of all of them. Ten seconds in, and he'd already insulted her. "I got a name, but you probably don't give a fuck, do you? I'm not going to get anywhere near you unless it's to lift your wallet or shove those kicks so far up your dumb butt you'll have to tie your laces with a toothbrush. Back. Away."
Jin scowled, slowly removing the pin from her hand. It left a neat hole, which let forth a small but growing bead of blood on the back of her hand. "Korlash. I am fine. I do not know what she hoped to do with a tiny stick." She frowned at it, squinting slightly. She had only looked for a second , but she was sure that it had looked... different before. Strange. She tucked the pin into her belt, and looked to Korlash. "What is... hoor?" She hadn't heard the word before. "Come. While you yell, your brothers fight." She quickly tore off a bit of the sleeve of her shirt and tied off the tiny wound on her hand. Then she rushed toward the village to help. If she was going to live here, she would have to prove that she would defend this place as her home.
Jin heard her name being called, and she was trying to help the lady Alice, who was limping, to the direction of the village. She tilted her head, wondering why Korlash sounded so panicked. "What is wrong now..." She muttered under her breath. "I helped him, and he yells. Not even to say thank you very loud." She moved to continue, but Alice's resistance stopped her in her tracks. "Ah!" She looked back in confusion. "Lady, what is wrong?"

"The game is up, child." Alice reached into her hair and removed an elegant looking pin with an eerie green jewel on it. Without warning, she drove the pin into Jin's arm, hard enough to leave it half an inch in the muscle.

Jin screamed, more out of surprise than pain. "AAAGH! What- why-"

"That filthy elf would have ruined the surprise, so I must move things forward." She kneed Jin in the ribs, and the girl coughed as the pain hit.

She didn't know the word for traitor, but she knew that this woman had tricked her for some reason. Pushing through the pain, she sliced at Alice's arm, her dagger going through cloth and the thin mail underneath until it was nearly stick. She brought it back just in time, and Alice shoved her hard to the ground.

"You bitch! You unnatural little whore! You made me bleed!" Alice's eyes were suddenly too wide with a fearsome rage. "...I hope you die soon, because I will make you suffer if we meet next." She fled, clutching her arm and running away with surprising speed.

Jin got to her feet, with her ribs hurting and a gold pin with a clear jewel sticking out of her hand.
Jin's eyesight shifted from an empty corner of the roof, to an Asian kid who'd sat down beside her. She gave him a wary look, before looking back to her cards. "Nice hoodie." She muttered, and he probably wouldn't have even heard it if he hadn't been sitting next to her. Her hands automatically ran through the cards, flipping and shuffling. She was soothed by the familiar sound.

In her head, she was wondering what some of these people were doing here. They all looked so... average. Okay, the girl with the oxygen tank had some serious issues, and there was an angry looking blonde chick who looked like she wasn't too happy about being stuck here either. Most of them, however, looked so damn normal. She could tell by the make of their clothes that they were all rich enough to buy that kind of needless bullshit and not think twice. Honestly, what kind of problems could you have if you could buy a $60 t-shirt with some logo splashed on it?

She felt her hands fumble, distracted by her annoyance. The cards scattered everywhere, all over the floor. "Dammit..." She knelt to start scooping them up, and as she reached out, she saw her hand tremoring faintly. Grunting, she squeezed it into a fist until the shaking stopped, before she started to scoop up the cards.
No rush necessary, Swordfish. We have plenty of time.

Jin didn't hear Korlash's warning about Alice. She was asleep. Add to that the fact that she's never seen a human woman wield a weapon before, and she's a sitting duck.
Jin didn't stir as Korlash picked her up, and was soothed by the ride on wolfback. She didn't start waking until they made it to the gates, and Korlash's scream spurred her body into action without her mind being fully conscious. She dropped off the wolf and into a low crouch, pulling her daggers out. Her mind didn't know what the danger was, until she saw Korlash in the midst of a battle. Were they never going to have any peace?

She didn't have time to think about that now. The guards were fleeing back to the city, and Korlash was fighting alone. She darted forward, and instead of engaging directly in battle, she sped past close to one of Korlash's attackers. She called a touch of wind to speed her steps, and slashed the back of the enemy knight's knee, right at the tendon. A spray of blood told her that her strike had hit home, as the enemy started screaming in pain. His leg buckled, unable to withstand his own weight.

Jin knew she couldn't stop. She made a wide circle and picked up momentum, before striking the next guard high. She sliced a high speed gouge into the side of his neck. Not enough to kill, not from the side, but it would be painful, distracting, and would slow him down with blood loss.

She didn't wait for Korlash to yell at her. Instead she moved away from his fight. There was a woman in a dress on the ground, which confused her. The dress wasn't like the elf women's dresses. "...are you hurt?" She could smell blood on the woman.

"Please... help me." The woman said, her head lowered. "Please help." She reached up and gripped Jin's arm with surprising force, enough to make the girl stagger.

Jin put away her daggers and started to help the woman from the ground. "Yes. I will help. What is your name?"

"My name..." She smiled, and Jin didn't see the predatory look in her eyes. "Is Alice."
Okay. Next time put that in the post itself... These details are important.
