I'm just now remembering how much of a jerk Amanda Waller was in the comics. It's absolutely staggering.

Yeah... I might have made Waller kind of nasty to her own family, but... I think, somewhere in her twisted logic, that she's trying to 'fix' or 'mold' her granddaughter.

The problem is what Waller was doing just now... It was specifically designed to hit Kijani as hard as possible.

Kijani was brought back to the one place that would shake her up most. Alpha has places all over the country- Waller could have easily sent her to California. But no, she brought Kijani to the same place she taken as a child. Putting her in surroundings where she was vulnerable.

For Anthony's part, he took away Kijani's power. Left her unable to move, unable to defend herself. He stuck her on the edge of a cliff.

Waller didn't push her off.

Waller eroded the ground under her feet. Her comments were designed to take away Kijani's humanity. Made her feel like she had no right to live. Living creatures have a right to survive... but Waller called her a 'tool'. A 'weapon'.

An object.

Leaving her in a place where she could be brainwashed.

What's bad is these are actual real-life tactics. Not of super villains or outright criminals... But simply of abusers to their victims.

*sigh* And now I'm sad.

Jinny clambered into the truck and managed to get her seatbelt on, before she curled up as tight as she could on the seat. Tears started to roll down her face; she hadn't known she could cry more today. She just stayed quiet. Honestly, she understood, a little bit. She was doing just the same thing as Mr. Richard. Her family was gone, everyone she cared for was dead. If she hadn't run into Mr. Josh and followed him, she easily could have wandered the wasteland for the rest of her life, no matter how long or short that would be.
