Kijani held Connor's hand, her grip faint. Words were echoing in her head, she couldn't get rid of them. Would Connor leave her tomorrow? Next week? When was the betrayal coming? Who would be next? Would the Professor stop treating her? Would Thor take her sword away?

She shut her eyes, and waited for the tranquilizer to take her away. She couldn't think anymore, and she didn't want to feel anymore. Not for today, anyway.

Thinking about putting a new character in, one I've never tested. She'd be a punk, tattooed girl with the power to make her art come to life. I don't know much about her personality yet... that's always the hardest part for me.

Kijani stared weakly at Connor, clinging at his hand. "Connor... Anthony put this... thing on my head, it blocks my powers... I can't take it off or it'll blow off my head. Please, just..." She wiped the tears from her face, her arm feeling like lead. "I can't... I can't take this right now. Please just... I need to sleep, or something, you've gotta have some kind of tranq in that suit. Please, Connor. Please. I'm begging you. Please. I'll tell you everything once I wake up, but I can't handle being conscious, please..." There was a rawness, a desperation in her voice that she'd never expressed before. All she wanted to do was sleep and not feel.

Jinny looked at Josh when he spoke to her, but said nothing. She grabbed the map from his pack and unfolded it. Then she frowned. "Mm... what do you want me to look for?" Her voice was a bit squeaky. She wasn't looking at him, and seemed still bothered by what she'd seen.
