"I am Nicholas Crane...." He said with a blank look on her face his eyes now on his textbook causally flipping though pages."So...what is your power a dangerous one if i cannot touch your hand?" The young man said waving his hand back at her.

*can't remember Nick's player for the life of her* You, the guy with the creepy-ass clown picture..

I'm having trouble understanding your post. Punctuation is key. I can take his sentence many ways, all with difference cadences.

"So...what? Is your power a dangerous one, if i cannot touch your hand?" The young man said waving his hand back at her.

Do you see what I mean? Just by switching around the punctuation, I'm getting three different versions of the same string of words. Is he curious, is he cautious, is he wary?

Help me out, please, because I have got literally nothing to go on here.

I think Jin might go to therapy in the interim. Considering in my head (in the post I never really wrote) that she slept through the trouble alarm, she'll finally convince herself that she does need some help.

Also, what is 'bromance'? Does that mean just two dudes being friendly? Or more? Because I'm all for dude-cuddling. In my head, Magnus would be rather protective of the younger ones in his 'pack'.

Devika chuckled. "Not quite. I haven't been going here long. I transferred in from college." She smiled a bit wanly. Where would she be if she had gone to this school instead of her high school? Maybe she'd be a hero? Or at least in complete control of her power. "I'm Devika. I'd give you a handshake, but you really don't want it, trust me." She simply waved her gloved fingers at him.

Kijani didn't remember crossing the campus, or making it into the female dorms. But she found herself at her door, trying to work the key into the lock with shaking hands. Eventually she managed to unlock the door and get inside. She crumpled into her bed, not even bothering to lose her shoes. It was cold, and she yanked the blanket over herself.
