Kaiden blinked as Kijani broke eye contact and he felt a release draw away from him and back towards Kijani. He realized what he was developing was a power in the realm of mind control; to what extent his powers extended he wasn't sure. If he could persuade people he could definitely work with this in the fighting. He found it curious though why Kijani reacted the way she did to his power. "Yeah, sure, sorry about that" he responded with a shrug. He listened to her method for their fighting. "That sounds good to me. I have never sparred before but I do parkour and I run a lot so I have strong endurance and I can move fast. But Kijani, what if I can't distract both of our opponents?" He wanted to cover all bases. The benefit of them going last was that they had plenty of time to create a game plan and to observe how the others win or lose.

Kijani thought about his question. It was a good one- there was no guarantee that he could hold two people's attention at the same time. "Well, you may not be able to fight, but can you dodge? You know you can fight, but... you're new. You're a variable that no one else will know how to conquer. For all we know, you're a blackbelt." She grinned fiercely. "Rule number one is easy. Never let them see your weakness." Canting her head, she dug splinters of wood out from under her fingernails with a detached interest. "Everyone has a weak point. Everyone. The trick is to keep it good and buried where no one can figure it out. You don't seem like the acting type- the other trick is to seem weak enough that you no longer become a threat. I'm way too smug for that, but I have seen it played well. Anyway..." She nodded her head. "You fake it. Throw a punch, but try not to get caught in it. Get them to come at you, you dodge, you port.. Just keep them looking while I do the dirty work."

Jin looked around a bit more, before trailing after Tobias in an ambling way. "Lay off, dude. I haven't been out of Lumiose in... well..." She blinked several times, because she had no idea. "A long time. Man... even the air tastes different." She spun in a circle in the purple flowers, sending up a wave of scent and pollen. Luna sniffed the air, sneezed a few times, and then settled into the flowers.

"...you know... I don't think I've ever caught a Pokemon before."

I don't really feel one way or another. I mean, this would be for Alpha/Omega, right? I haven't quite gotten fully excited for those yet.
