Oh, ok.

I'm sorry. I've just never seen anything like that before, so I had no visual reference for it. >_< I'm not any good at imagining certain things in my head- anything involving measurements is well beyond me. I have some kind of learning disability in that area.

I'm being serious about that, though... When someone starts talking inches, kilometers, ounces, even money... all that stuff, I just have no understanding of any of it.

Kijani whooped out loud as the speed pressed her into the seat. She wanted to raise her hands and scream like she was on a roller coaster. The force was keeping her more or less immobile, though, whipping her dreadlocks around her face. By the time he let go of the gas, she was laughing with glee. "Oh, that was intense..." There was a happiness on her face that hadn't been present yesterday. If she stopped to think about it, she'd likely realize that she hadn't been this happy in a long time.

"I'm guessing Ar-pms has something to do with speed?" She really didn't know much about cars. Ask her about a book, a word or language, and she could discuss for hours. Mechanical things were a bit beyond her, though.

Connor looked up at Kijani's voice, went to smile but then stopped halfway through as he saw her, dressed as she was. He didn't think he hD ever seen her dressed like that. He rose, managing to smile now, walking up to meet her. He was more then glad that he hadn't blushed, but he seemed to slip into having difficulty with his words. That could have just been normal for him, but it hadn't ben the norm for a while.aas he really that early? He supposed he was, "oh uh, yeah" he looked about quickly, again making sure that nothing he had set up could easily be seen "I had to do a bit of set up" he looked back to her, "you look-I mean....uh. Better. You look better today"

Kijani grinned widely. Connor hadn't been all stammery around her in a while, but it was adorable that he was reacting this way. "Thank you, Connor." She stepped close and kissed his cheek, before moving away and doing a slow turn. "It's meant to be a bit showy, but not distract from my body." She looked at him while her back was turned, watching his expression from the corner of her eye. "It's a bit snug around the hips. You don't think it's too... revealing, do you?"

Was she horrible for enjoying the thought of making Connor uncomfortably warm? Yes, probably, but it was a sin she wouldn't apologize for.

Kijani looked lost at his explanation, but still managed to buckle the strange seatbelt properly. She was quiet as they got on the road, only speaking when he smiled at her.

"Hold on tight to wha-"

He hit the gas hard and the force of it pressed her into the seat. She couldn't help it. She squealed like a little girl, shutting her eyes reflexively. The car rolled free for a good while before settling back to a reasonable speed, and Kijani opened her eyes again. As she turned to look at him, it would be clear that she hadn't squealed in fear. There was excitement in her eyes, taking them from honey brown to brilliant gold.

"Now that's... power." She pushed back her hair automatically, then grinned wide at Taylor. "Can you do that again?"

"I have to... literally climb into this thing. Goody." She was thankful that she'd worn flat shoes instead of anything with a heel. Slowly she went up the ladder, carefully swinging her long legs over the top and settling in the seat. "I'm sorry, what's a four point harness?"

Kijani appeared in the gym, dressed in a very clingy dancing costume. It was a creamy ivory color, with gold embroidery. She wore a pair of thin gold dancing shoes, and her hair was bound loosely by a ribbon. "Hey, Connor!" She waved at him, wondering just what he would be doing as his talent. "I didn't know you'd be here so early."
