Jack looked completely confused as all hell. He had no idea what was going on. He had been in the City since he had heard his father was MIA for some reason. As the only remaining Parker it was his job to check New York City. Jack tried to help her to her feet. "What's going on? Who couldn't you save? I was in the city cause dear old dad is missing in action. " Jack said quickly as he looked around.

"The school was attacked. Soldiers everywhere, students getting taken. They took my friend Nick. I was so close... I had to take down that lump of muscle.." She pointed to the massive man who was still unconscious and drooling on the ground. "I hit him too hard, and the whiplash knocked me out."

At the scene before her, Kijani let out a peal of snickering laughter. "Oh, my goodness. This is just SAD. I don't know if you're sleeping with Magneto or doing his laundry, or what..." She shook her head. "But you're a horrible employee. The first thing you do when left alone with new recruits is beat them up? Wow, great leadership skills." She applauded in a very sarcastic manner. "You really think your employer will want you tearing the arm off of someone who chose to join him? Do you think this is what he wants his organization to stand for?" Letting out a snort, she stood up and walked over to them, close enough to intervene.

"Do you know what I see here? I see someone who is weak enough to be wiled with mere words. I see someone who isn't intelligent enough to take an insult- or give one back. I see someone who hasn't evolved past his lizard brain, and still considers brute violence the answer to everything." She smiled, one finger tapping her chin in a deliberate, studied way.

"I also see Kalinda, who has done nothing but what I assume Magneto has recruited us for. She's standing up to someone who thinks they should be in power, but who is truly weak, powerless, and far behind the times. She is asserting her natural dominance over the weak." Looking Reinhardt in the eyes, without a scrap of fear, she had the last word.

"Face it, dear- you may be a mutant, but I've seen chimpanzees with higher brain function."

My name is Dizzy. My character's named Jin/Orbit. She's a short, snarky tech-loving telekinetic who was raised by Batman. Instead of being broody, she's a loudmouth.

Jack stopped when he noticed Devika laying there knocked out by the looks of it on the front lawn. He swung down and looked at her. "Hey? You okay?" He asked shaking her gently.

Devijka groaned, trying to lift herself up. Her skull wanted to explode, and the simple act of lifting herself halfway to look at the person beside her nearly made her vomit from the pain. "Oh, I'm fine. I just really like lying on concrete." A low groan escaped her lips. "I wasn't strong enough to save him..."

Kijani settled back to watch as the situation caught fire. Whoever this person was that Magneto left in charge, he sure wouldn't be for long. Obviously, he didn't have the slightest clue on how to properly read and control a room. "Kalinda, my goodness... You've been holding that in for a long time, haven't you?" Her voice was actually genuine for once. "I feel sorry for whoever is going to have to battle you. They say it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for." Her gold eyes flickered to the man in charge.

"So... what are you, exactly? Some kind of second in command? Because, let me tell you, you're doing a real bang-up job so far. You've got all the charm and charisma of a wet dog."

Kijani resisted the urge to yawn. She wasn't interested in dealing with Magneto's peons. Especially ones who tried to be intimidating, but merely wound up sounding like they needed caffeine. "Please, get on to things we didn't learn in grade school. I think we all understand the point of working in a group. If anyone here is expecting to be praised for being a turncoat, then they should probably pick a window to leap out of now and save everyone else the trouble." She started winding a dreadlock around her finger, looking incredibly bored.

"How about you... whoever you are... tell us what we will be doing?"
