Jin smiled in a wobbly way, and started walking. "Mm... so which way's class?" She wasn't moving like she had before. Her steps were stumbling, and she looked a bit pale. "Damn, I have no idea where anything is in this place."
Just so you know, Hagroden, Jihord didn't cause Jin's sweating. A cold sweat is when you're sweating, but not because your body's hot and needs to cool down. **A cold sweat is a condition in which you sweat and your skin feels clammy and very cool or cold. It commonly affects the palms of the hands, underarms, and feet.** Pulled that from the internet right quick. ^_^; It's not his fault.
Kijani had a brief look of a child in a toy store. "Yes, please." She pulled back her dreadlocks, and then carefully put on the helmet. There was a smile on her face, half hidden by the visor. "How do I look?" She knew she didn't have $300 dollars to spend. She knew that, and it was a very strange feeling. She had never been ashamed of her budget before- she'd never had to question it. http://image.dhgate.com/albu_344255504_00/1.0x0.jpg
Kijani was grateful for Taylor's hand helping her out of the buggy. She felt that there was no graceful way to get in and out of it gracefully. To be honest, she didn't have the slightest clue about what he and the other man were saying to each other. She was going to ask, but as soon as they were inside the shop, she completely forgot. "Wow..." There was a glitter in her golden eyes, a look of subtle joy that hadn't been in her gaze before. Looking around at all the different bikes, Kijani felt deeply excited. It took her a moment to respond to Taylor's question. "What kind? Uh... I like red."
Jin, Luke and Jihord are on their way there, just coming down from a fight.
Kijani frowned at Taylor, but left a sizeable tip for the waitress. She picked up her glass of water and drained it dry. "I am ready. Let's go." She stood and smiled, trying not to show too much excitement. In truth, one of her youngest dreams had been to ride a motorcycle. She remembered seeing the sleek, fast bikes weaving in and out between New York traffic, and knew one day that she wanted to be that. Unfortunately, her parents told her that motorcycles were for thugs and delinquents, and that she had no reason to use one when they had a driver. Somehow, the wish still burned in her, deep and private, and hidden even to her until now.
Devika meandered onto class once she finished her food, making a quick stop in her room for a pair of gloves. Her whole self was on edge; apparently she hadn't quite relaxed from yesterday. She felt a stressed excitement that didn't belong to her; it made her skin tingle and itch in a way that she didn't like. Once she got to class, she took a seat where the least amount of people sat.
Kijani thought the drink sounded tasty, and that she would go back to the bar just to try it. But when he asked her about shopping, she gave him a curious look. "There's an entire store just for dirtbikes? How interesting. I'd like to see that first. Once you've been to one mall, you've been to all of them, really." She dug her wallet from her first, and tried not to look worried about the amount of cash in it. Still, though, she wouldn't let him pay. He'd expect something.. they always did.
Jin let her powers fade away, tucking them back in her own mind, where she'd taken years learning how to inhibit them in her normal life. It took a good minute, and it left her feeling weak after. She wasn't sure why Leon had his hand to her, but she was grateful for it, because her head felt like it could drift away like a balloon. "Hang out? S'cool. Works for me, but save space on the table, I might need a second chair just for my lunch." She hadn't let loose in so long, but already she felt the aftereffects coming. Her stomach let out a little grumble, even though she'd eaten an excellent breakfast. Chance, her brother, was a chef with his own restaurant, and he never let her leave hungry if he could help it. She would miss his peanut butter pancakes... BUT! She wouldn't forgive him. Not yet. Her palms were starting to cold sweat. "Oof. Think I pulled a brain muscle." She laughed weakly, and tried to keep upright.
It's the middle of the afternoon for me. I'm gonna post, and then I'll be gone for a while. Might check in on my phone. -EDIT: I need to look up the effects of low blood sugar. It's basically what happens to Jin after a big display. That, and brain-searing headaches.
