"Yeah. It will be." She smiled broadly. "I... I'll see you then." She grabbed her book and stood, gazing up at him for a few obviously nervous moments before she hastily kissed his cheek and fled the scene. His jacket was left behind on the table.

John laughs, "I admit some of them are good looking, but most look like a stiff wind would blow them away. I like my girls with a little meat on their bones." He clears his throat and says, "So um, about training you. Do you still want me to, even though I haven't done it before?"

Devika raised her eyebrows, taking off her glasses and polishing them on her shirt, in an attempt to form a coherent response to what he'd just said. She set them back on, and half smiled. "Good... good to know, John. And yes, I would like you to train me. It can't be that different, training a woman. I'm sure you could ask one of the teachers or something."

"I'm nothing if not adaptable" Connor said, but the truth was Connor had missed out on a few opportunities to do things because he just had thought he could do it. He didn't want to miss out with kijani. So yes, it was her fault, and he took her advice well, "six, and somewhere in the city, where ever 'real' food is"

Kijani nodded, trying to fight down her blush. "I'll do some research. What are you in the mood for? Are you brave enough for raw fish? Because I know a great sushi place."

John frowns, "I don't understand why you worry so much about how you look. I think you look hot." He puts his sandwich down and says, "I thought about how you asked me to be a personal trainer for you, and I'd be happy to, I don't know how. I've only ever trained guys."

Devika was lucky she wasn't eating anything, because she probably would have choked. "Wha- wait, what? You think I look... hot?" She just gave him a look of disbelief and leaned forward, closer to him, so her voice wouldn't carry. "Have you seen the females at this school? I mean... I feel like this place is for supermodels, not superheroes."

John looks up, his mouth full of food, and waves slightly at Devika. He gestures toward the empty seat while he finishes what he's chewing. When his mouth is empty, he says, "Hey! You want some? Of the sandwich, I mean."

Devika sat down, before shaking her head at the offer of a sandwich. "No thanks. I don't need more calories today." She smiled a wan smile. Inwardly she was wondering a bit where all the food went, but the longer she looked at John's chiseled muscles, the more she realized he probably had to work a lot to keep himself that way.

Connor watched her curiously. He had never seen her so...nervous. Normally, he was the one struggling to form a sentence. "You should blame yourself, really. You told me to be more confident" he smiled, he was actually surprised at himself, really. "So, tonight?" He asked hopefully, even more shocked at himself.

Kijani's eyes widened and she smiled, giggling faintly. "I didn't expect you to take my advice so... well." She started to twist a dreadlock around her fingers. "Yes. Tonight. When and where?"

Kijani went a lovely shade of burgundy. "Oh..." She pressed her lips together, her heartbeat starting to go rapid. "I.. ah... w-wow..." She was surprised, not having expected him to be so bold. Her hand rubbed the back of her neck. "...well, I... I would... I mean-" She didn't know why it was suddenly so hard to string words together. Slowly she tried to calm herself and breathe. "...I would... I think... yes." Dammit, Stark, making her sound like a moron...

"Oh, not much. Woke up, couldn't get dressed properly- I almost wore two different socks, and put my gloves on the wrong hands..." She shook her head, smiling. The smile flickered into something shy. "It's your fault, you know."

Devika decided that eating just wasn't going to happen today. She got up and went to dump her tray, and spotted John sitting alone, with copious amounts of meatball sub to keep him company. She made a slight detour for his table. "Hey..." She hovered in the aisle, not sure if she should sit.

No problem, Crim, really. I'd rather have a good post that takes a while than a quick but crappy post. Seriously, the last thing I'm gonna do is rush you. All my RPs are moving at different speeds, so if one goes slow, there's one that's going fast... so it all evens out.
