Devika got hit with so many bullets at once from every direction that she had no idea what to do. She just slumped, covering her head in a show of panic. She should have known better. With her body size, she was a massive target. She sighed, kneeling on the forest floor in a defeated pose.
Kijani got distracted as Sue rushed past her, going in the wrong direction. "Sue? Where are you going?" She kept her voice low, wondering just what Sue thought she was doing.
Devika kept her grip on her gun, but knew it was shaking anyway. "...you're... not on my team." She seemed to be having trouble making the choice. "If you're going to hurt them, you're going to hurt people who are helping me." She shrugged very slightly. "I'm sorry, Anthony. I guess I have to shoot you." She fired a few shots all at once, with no particular sense of aim. She honestly couldn't have hit him unless he was standing in arm's reach... or she was very lucky.
"Hi Charlie." She reached out for the doll that he offered, and held it gently in her hand. "My name is Kassandra, but you can call me Kassy, okay?" She smiled down at the little one, then gently squeezed his tiny mermaid doll. "You have a very nice toy..." She held very still as the boy reached out and touched her tailfin. Watching him, she realized, in a delayed fashion, that the poor thing was cold and hungry. She wasn't sure how she would manage clothes for one so small, but she could certainly handle getting him a meal. "Charlie, stay here, alright? I'm going to get you something to eat." She set the boy's doll back into his lap. "You hold onto her for me, okay? I don't want her to get wet. Stay here."

After making sure the child wasn't going to follow her, Kassy dove back into the water, dropping low and searching for fish. She came across a good sized school of fat tuna, and bolted after one, catching it in her teeth. She quickly gutted it with the small fish knife in her satchel, and headed back up to the cave. The whole process took less than ten minutes, and soon Kassy resurfaced with her fresh caught fish. "Here, Charlie." She carved off a thick slice for him. "It's very fresh."
Yeah, I have no idea what to do now.

Also, is Devika being OP, because she's able to sense Anthony like that?
Kijani nodded, and started heading toward Estella with utmost quiet.
Devika shifted from foot to foot, wondering what to do now. She knew she had no business trying to keep up with the hero types. Before she could get too down on herself, her senses picked up someone closing in. She didn't hear them, or see them- rather she felt them- an emotional pattern of someone who was detached. It was a different pattern from all of the others, and it stuck out pretty well. She spun in the direction of the feeling, fumbling with her gun. "I see you!" A lie, but hopefully it would scare them into movement. "You can't hide from me!"
Devika waved slightly at John as he spotted her, then looked to Estella. It didn't look good for the girl. She was well out in the open, and between John and the other boy,she was going to go down quick. She held still, making sure not to make more noise. The last thing she wanted was to ruin the boys' plan.
Kijani started walking, her footsteps light and careful. She too was keeping herself crouched, as she would present a pretty good target with her tall height. Every so often, she'd turn her head and check behind herself with her peripheral vision.
Kijani caught Sue's eye, and holstered her paintgun to sign. "Just follow the boys. We'll be okay." She smiled warmly. "We're quick. They'll have to work hard to catch us."
So.. Devika's following Connor and John... and I'm pretty sure she has no idea how to be stealthy.
Kijani nodded her agreement to Anthony's plan. "Sounds good to me..." She could live with it- she was just a little unsure of her aim with such a bulky weapon.

---
Kijani struck off on her own after getting her gear. She'd team up with someone later.
Devika spotted the back of John's head over the crowd, and started to head in his direction. Maybe he could teach her how to aim properly. She'd never shot a gun before, even a fake one.
