Play him how you want to play him! I'm not going to stop you, as long as it wasn't like... ridiculous, y'know? But now that you're telling me quite emphatically that it's not, I can breathe easy.

And tell me more about your superpowered Batman? I mean, if Batman had a superpower AND all of his gear and influence, he'd be absolutely unstoppable. I don't want your hero to be boringly perfect.

The Orphan's Wedding

“Good morrow, sir.” Kijani smiled politely at the old gentleman, but was inwardly wincing. She hadn't expected to make a scene, at all. Now she was scrambling for a story. Luckily, she'd always been quite creative. “No trouble at all, actually. I am on holiday, and... I would appreciate your help in finding potential housing for the time being.” The coachmen set down her traveling bag at her feet, tipped his hat to her, and was off before she had the idea to call him back.

Her story wasn't bad. It was simple enough to be believed, but open enough that she could add details as necessary. “If it's not too much trouble, that is.” She was used to being obeyed by people that dressed like this man did, but she wasn't completely fooled by her upbringing. There wasn't her name to back her up, here. She was strictly on her own merits, and it wouldn't do well for her if she started things off by insulting the only person to greet her so far.

It reminds me... of Sailor Moon. Not gonna lie. That's a really good thing, though, because I love Sailor Moon for the simplicity of it.

What does your plot have to do with thieves, though? Because I like thieves- one of my main OCs is a master thief. I don't know what kik is but if it's not too complicated I'll consider it.

Whew. Post is finally up, I truly apologize for the delay.

The Few and The Far (Dizzy & Crim)

Jin darted from hiding spot to hiding spot, getting nearer to the gate with every burst of movement. It was getting darker now, and she knew there was a very small window of time for her to get out the gate. Daylight, and it would be too bright for her to sneak around. Full dark, and everyone would have lights on, lighting up the shadows she needed. But the in-between of sunset was the perfect balance. It was dim, but no one had their lights on just yet.

She made it near to the gate, only one last burst of distance to go. The trucks were coming in, and the guards' attention immediately went to them. Supplies were vital. With that bit of luck, and the guards' heads turned the other way, she headed out the gate, and then broke out into a careful jog. She was scrawny, yes, but sometimes that meant her lack of weight gave her extra endurance. It was a few miles from town before she dared stop, leaning against a tree. She'd done it! She'd made it out! A smile lit her face and she moved from her hiding spot- only to dart back to it immediately. Someone was out there! It was too far away to tell if he was nice or not, but she could only assume not. Unzipping the pocket on her supply pouch, she grabbed the meat knife and gripped it tight in her small fist.

"I worked too hard to die now." Her black eyes narrowed as she waited for the stranger to move.
