An interesting question. 533 didn't expect to be free of the thing so soon. Now having the option to leave lost some of its appeal with no real place to go. She was never told of any other safe locations. Opening her mouth as if to say something she stopped herself. The people here didn't need to know the situation. SHIELD placed her here after all. Being the first day she had no idea who she could really trust. "That's my problem. What happens next?"

Devika grinned. "We head to our next class." She went back to where she'd left her things, rifling through an already packed bag to pull out an earworn class schedule. "Here. Pick anything you think you'll like. Strengthen your skills, pick up new ones... the choice is yours."
Kijani headed off to class, as soon as she felt well enough to stand. She hurried off to Thor's training grounds, and spent her time lost within the graceful dance with her and her sword. She was pulled from her concentration by applause. She spun with blade in hand, only to find Thor applauding her. Immediately she bowed and lowered her weapon.

"Excellent form, Lady Kijani. You have made outstanding progress these last few days." The God of Thunder smiled proudly at her. "I believe you are ready to commit to the weapon. Do you understand the glory and the duty that carrying a weapon will yield you?"

Despite being utterly excited at this news, Kijani kept her expression serious. "Yes, sir. I am prepared."

Thor's smile only widened. "Come with me." He led her to the heavily locked vault where the real weapons were held. These weren't blunted training swords and knives- these were powerful tools, that could defend those in need- or kill those in the way. Thor presented her with a long, slim box. "It is yours. Open it."

Kijani unlatched the box slowly, and opened it. Inside lay a gleaming jian. The blade was pristine steel, the hilt wrapped with rich scented leather with sturdy wood beneath it. There was a long golden ribbon at the end of the pommel- a bit more showy than the traditional tassel, but Kijani liked that. In between blade and hilt, there was a shining symbol inlaid into the metal- a yin-yang. Balance. Harmony. Duality. There was a scabbard set in the box alongside the sword. Barely able to hold in her excitement, she smiled broadly up at her teacher. "I will do this blade proud, sir." She shut the box reverently.

"I know you will. Now go, and have yourself a feast worthy of Asgard. You have earned it."

Kijani held the weapon box tight and headed off.
I'm out too! Bye all!

Taking of the now melting ice 533 looked at Devika and grinned. "That's not really important. What is is that I got that stupid tracer off." She points to the ice, which also held the tracker in question. "Who's powers was it that knocked me out?"

Devika took some time to think about that. "Kalinda... and... I think Anthony? They were very close when things got crazy." She looked down at 533's bare leg. "That was easy enough." She grinned widely. "So, what to do with your newfound freedom?"
Kijani sat on the ground while she cleared her head. She frowned at the scene in front of her. Austin was bleeding- pretty bad, too, from the look of it. He looked panicked. Connor was helping, and so was... John? That was interesting; she wouldn't have picked him for the type to be so... openly caring. She actually wanted to help, but there wasn't much she could do but hover around and worry. Besides, the smell of blood always made her very anxious. She sat there, watching the boys control the situation.
Devika rubbed her arms, sore from half dragging 533. "Your mother? What did your mother say?"

I think it's a game? If I remember correctly.

Speaking of which, while Devika was dragging her 533 came to. She grit her teeth and sat up. "What the hell happened?" Lifting her self to her feet she looked around. Well at least it looked like she wasn't the only one that got effected by, whatever it was. She looked at her legs and didn't see any ice on them.

Devika shrugged slightly. "Well, I think two people's powers either... blended, or... repelled... everyone freaked and started passing out. Except for me, apparently. Are you alright?"
Hi guys.

Is it ok for Devika to be almost immune to what just happened? I mean, she meditates daily to keep herself in check, so I figured that if it did hit her, she'd know how to counteract quickly.
Kijani found herself coming to in a corner. She hadn't been in the middle of the fear fog, but even getting the edges of it was enough to send her scrambling into the nearest small place. She hadn't passed out, but she hadn't been entirely aware of her surroundings, either. Now her eyes hurt from squeezing them shut so hard. "...damn. What the hell was that?"
Devika seemed to be one of the few that had been spared. She'd been right in the midst of the fog, but her own power and training with her emotions had spared her all but the slightest fear. When her fellow students started dropping, she did her best to help. She'd been in the middle of hauling 533 out of the danger zone when Professor McCoy called the game quits.
Kijani darted behind Anthony, reaching out to give him a smack to the back of the head and running off. "How about a real challenge, Ant?" Both the smack and the nickname were meant to divert his attention- she was much faster than Anthony, and could easily keep him busy.
Devika pulled up a carefully measured dose of fear. She stalked around with the power ready to be loosed, looking for someone who wasn't paying attention.
At the waters that splashed into the edge of the cave, the water started to become disturbed. Kassy's head jerked toward the sound, pulling up an invisible shield in a moment's notice. She and Charlie vanished instantly. The surface of the water broke as a head poked out. Curious blue eyes scanned the cave.

Kassy smiled brightly and lowered the shield- but only partially. Charlie was still hidden. "Leo! I'm here!"

The rest of the man's head popped out of the water, to his shoulders. "Kassy! You haven't called for me that way in a while. Is everything okay?" He looked worried. "I didn't know what to expect, so I brought help." Someone else popped out of the water- a woman, with deep purple curls and eyes like emeralds.

"Oh, Bianca!" Kassy's smile flickered, but only slightly. "You're here?"

Bianca smiled. "Well, I wasn't about to let my husband swim into danger alone. What's going on?"

Kassy breathed out nervously. "Well- you're about to find out." She let the rest of the spell fall away, revealing the little human in her arms. Leo's eyebrows went way up. Bianca's mouth dropped open, and she was the first to speak.

"Is that... a human?"

"Yes." Kassy nodded, idly smoothing the boy's hair. "His name is Charlie. I got caught in a fisher's net, and he saved me... But he's all alone and quite ill... I need help."

Leo looked less surprised than his wife. He knew what Kassy was like- gentle and giving to a fault. "...what sort of help do you need?"
