Kijani took a few chips and smiled a bit. "Who's your father, then? If you don't mind my asking?" Talking about someone else's problems certainly took the focus off her own.
Just gonna post this here so I don't forget to PM you in the daylight.
Kijani blinked a few times as she felt someone touching her. The world came back into place, and she realized that Sue was hugging her. Slowly, uncertainly, she returned the hug and smiled faintly. "Thank you." She mouthed to the girl silently. Then a guy appeared and more or less started talking to himself, and slapping himself in the head. She couldn't help but frown, her eyebrows raised.

"You ok, man?" She said very softly. Who was she to judge? She'd been freaking out not two hours ago.
"Oh..." Jinny looked at the tent as he explained. That was a really good idea, like making a big noise somewhere else that you weren't and then making everyone go there... then you could take their stuff while they were gone. She looked back at the man, wanting to ask another question. Why set up a decoy at all, why not just hide? The decoy meant there was someone who had to have put it there, but if you just hid... they wouldn't know you were there at all, right? But she realized he was sort of asleep, and she didn't want to bug him. Sleeping people could be mean when they woke up, and he was holding a knife. So she cuddled down against her pack, curling into a tight little ball. She shut her eyes and lay there. Not asleep, but wishing she could.
I'm semi-interested.
Hey... does this still have space? Can I app two characters? They'd be family.
Kijani nodded, and was relieved that Sue hadn't been hurt. Then she was handed a piece of paper. Apparently Sue wanted her to show off. "Er." Kijani made a soft little noise and felt unsure. She couldn't do much. Or... could she? Like it or not, she'd been ready to carve Mimic's eye out in class hours ago. And all she'd had was a few pages. She'd been in survival mode, then, but maybe she could tap into that, somehow.

Closing her eyes, she lay the piece of paper on her palm. Her power came slowly, in a weak trickle like a blocked faucet, hovering the paper just a few inches from her palm. "Come on..." She murmured. It would be embarrassing if that was all she could do.

It hit her all at once, then. Images and sounds and that horrible smell again. With a sharp motion of her hand, she split the paper in two and shot it in opposite directions. Twin white streaks whistled through the air and embedded themselves inches deep in the nearest solid object. One hit a wall, one a tree.

Kijani sat there, shaking and sweating, trying to come back to the present.
I'll just say Archive is waiting in the shadows, if I ever have the energy to return.

I really do apologize, I had high hopes for this but to be honest I'm not feeling that great about anything at the present. So I'll let my spot go to someone that can be active.

See ya'll around.

Oh, btw, Krein, can you take down Archive's profile off the 1st page? I don't wanna confuse anyone.
I think I have to back out of this. I'm seriously stuck and only falling pages and pages behind. >< I'm real sorry.
Kijani watched Sue settle, puzzled. She didn't understand sign language, but it seemed Jack did. Feeling a bit left out of the conversation, she went back into her bag for her notebook and a pen. Scribbling out a note to Sue, she held it up.

"Does that pose mean someone beat you up or something? I don't know sign language."
