Sorry for the delay! I've been steadily catching up with all my RPs, battling a nasty chest cold at the same time.

Kijani groaned low as she was suddenly aware of the world again. Her first instinct was to yawn and stretch, and she did so. The surprise came after, as she realized she could, in fact, stretch freely without the weight of cuffs and chains. "...hmm..." She rolled her tongue, dislodging a tiny ball of real mint from the corner of her mouth. Cyrosleep always made one's breath smell awful, and she wasn't going to have that. Fresh breath could mean the difference between a successful bribe or a failed attempt. Chewing lightly, she waited until her eyes adjusted to being open again, and she looked around her cell. It was empty, save for her.

"Interesting..." She murmured to the air as she smoothed her handmade, red silk suit and adjusted her tie. Plucking a few seeds from the pocket beneath the golden tie, she let a few tiny vines start to grow from between her fingers. They blossomed, letting out a few tiny buds and getting thicker, until they had wound their way around most of her hand, like a thick, living glove. "This has to be some kind of trick." With her free hand, she arranged her thick dreadlocks into a neat knot at the back of her neck. Trick or no, she didn't go anywhere without looking the best that she possibly could. Once she peeked in the shiny metal wall of the ship and determined herself passable, she took a few hesitant steps into the hall. Her golden eyes scanned for movement as she wondered just what in the universe was going on.

Devika stayed well in the back as the fighting got underway, her hands wrapped in a pair of thick gloves with spiked knuckles. She didn't really know what to do, or if she could even do anything at all.

Kijani breathed in happily, feeling the glorious weight and power of a thick tome in her hands. "Oh, sweet paper." She stroked the page with her fingertips. "I'll never take you for granted again." She checked the sword that was neatly in it's scabbard on her back, and then she darted off into battle, seeking any target that would give her trouble. She saw John looking pretty terrifying, chasing down Jack. His hands were caught up in sticky web, and with a wave of will, she detached several pages from her tome. They flew forward, shredding the webs into bits like they were made of nothing. "Don't play with your food, John!" With that said, she recalled her pages and went to cause more trouble.

Answer! opening up as a mideval era mutation heavy setting really makes it easy to adjust most cannons however you like to making them OC. who and what did you have in mind?Question! Who is your avatar of?

I meant like... a new mutant not based on any others. Mostly because she looks a certain way, and I don't think her power set has been used for any major mutant. I could be wrong.

My avatar is of one of my OC's. Her name is Devika. It was a commission I paid for.

Personality: Kassy is gentle hearted and sweet. While she seems to have a quiet confidence on the outside, she suffers from very low self worth. She tends to see things in a very black and white manner, and has difficulty accepting acts that she deplores as 'wrong' or 'evil'. However, she's more prone to seeing the gray areas in people, rather than actions.
History: Kassy's mother was a famed occultist said to speak with the spirits of the dead. She grew up traveling with her parents from place to place while her mother worked. Unfortunately, her mother fell ill and died when Kassy was about eight. Her distraught father dropped her off at her aunt's home, and never returned.

Kassy's aunt despised her mother, believing her a fraud. This hatred carried over to her niece, and Kassy was treated very poorly during her childhood and adolescence. Her uncle ignored his niece's treatment, unwilling to stand up to his wife. Kassy's only solace was her cousin Leonce, who treated her like the sister he'd always wanted. They grew up sheltering each other, until Leonce escaped to college. Kassy suffered alone a while longer before escaping to school herself, promising to never look back.
