Achi was nearing some buildings, tentatively following the map laid out by the device with the message. She frowned as she stopped. All of these places looked alike. Rectangular and tall, how was she to tell them apart?

Then a man in a cloak popped out of thin air, and she panicked, pulling a veil of invisibility over herself out of reflex. The tug at her remaining power left her head spinning lightly, and she knew she had to reach her destination soon. Veils were the easiest thing for her- if even that was starting to tire her, she couldn't have much strength left to tap. Watching the man in the gray cloak, she saw him near a building and go in. He was followed by an odd looking male (definitely not human) in black. Was this what she was looking for?

She crept closer, staying far enough that she wouldn't step on anyone. With an invisible hand, she pushed open the door, and nearly breathed a sigh of relief. There were people here, all of them dressed in unusual clothes. They were around a table, and they all looked like they were on a mission. These had to be the heroes she was to help. Silently she stepped forward, removing the cloths from her hair and clothes, and letting her bold-colored green and orange dyes stand out.

"A-ah..." She dropped the veil slow, revealing herself from head to toe. "Are you the ones who seek justice?"
I dunno how to get Achi/Kassy where they are...
*collapses into thread* I'll think of soomethhing tomorrow. *starts snoring*
*drums fingers idly*
Kijani frowned, thinking about that as they walked. "It's hard to say, really. I mean, it would help if we had some idea of our location." She twisted a dreadlock around her finger, an idle habit when she was deep in thought. "Even if they come for us, they'll be hard pressed to capture me again." Looking down to Warden, she smiled and decided to distract her. "Warden, I also like ice cream. What's your favorite flavor? I have a fondness for dark chocolate chip, myself."

"Great" Connor said, starting to eat, and gave her a smile, "You're energetic. Or just can't sit still" He noted

"Well, yes." She flipped a grape into her mouth. "I feel like myself again. It's wonderful." She knew she couldn't tell him that she had her powers back- even though she wanted to. There would be questions, and even in the unlikely event that he believed the lie she would feed him about overcoming Professor Xavier's block, he'd probably tell someone. So it had to stay a secret for now.
Is it too soon for me to post?
Richard's eyes were beyond sad. It was like he'd tired of being sad, and so had just gone on to empty to avoid hurting anymore. "Doesn't matter, really, at this point." He put the keys into Josh's hand. "The gas sticks from time to time, you'll wanna keep it well-greased. There's a lockbox where you all were riding in- full of all the spare parts I could find. Good luck keepin' it gassed."

Jinny tipped her head, her face was puzzled. "How come you're giving us the car, Mr. Richard?"

Richard crouched to Jinny. "Well... I'm gonna join my family."

Jinny frowned, looking even more confused. "But won't it help if you have the car? You'll get there faster."

Richard laughed, but there was no mirth in it. "I'm going to join them in watching over people like you and your Mr. Josh, there. My wife and son are waiting for me."

"But, you said your son..." Jinny stopped short as the pieces fell into place. Her hands clapped over her mouth. "Oh, no.. You can't do that!"

Richard sighed, very softly. "I have nothing left, kiddo. Everything I valued most in this world is in a whole other place, and I... I've gotta go with it. You keep your chin up, okay, Jinny?" He gently patted her head, and gave her a fatherly hug. "You work on that shot, you hear?" He stood, and nodded once at Josh. "...be safe." Then he started walking.
It's just this idea I had for an RP a while back, with a friend of mine who played an excellent Deathstroke.

Don't ask me how, but he was going to wind up on her therapy couch. She isn't human, so she has different ideas about people who kill people.

Also, I don't think Slade's about chaos. Yes, he messes with people, but I have a sense that he's doing everything for a reason. Problem is that no one else knows the reasons but him.
