Lantern

I have no idea what just happened. :(

But. Lemme write something here, then. Mod post on its way.

Edit: some notes for my reference and maybe yours!

Simon is only wearing a pair of trousers and a heavy black metal necklace. Quite banged up and quite dirty, and unable to see much now that MC has his glasses. He carries a bright blue frog and the fox mask.

Talan is camoflaged in drying mud and is (probably) still wearing bits of monkeybat corpses. He carries a wooden spear, a dead rabbit, and the wolf mask. There's an iron pirate pendant around his neck. Talan's campfire burns within sight of the inn.

The inn (and everything in it) is an exact replica of the one Robin grew up in.

Robin is still soaking wet. She has eaten in the inn, but has heeded MC's warning and has come out again, leaving the violet lantern on the table inside.

Anise is currently inside the inn after having eaten half of Robin's abandoned food, and is crying. She is, in fact, not wet at all, but rather dirty and scraped from being dragged through the weeds.

MC is at the doorway, holding the green lantern. She has a white flower behind her ear and is not wearing a shirt except for her bra, from which Simon's glasses are hanging. She knows stories of what happens when you eat mysterious food in the forest.

So with that, we have two groups. Onward!

@Bunnita ... uh. I meant that as a good thing. Like, everyone should really be as shocked as MC. Everything that has happened is an excuse to be unaffected, but not a great one. ;)

I'm thinking of making another character. Maybe someone from Talan's tribe back home.

The "one character per player" rule is one thing I stand firm on for several reasons, sorry. However, everyone is always welcome to kill off their current character to create another.

In a roundabout way this reminds me: the only two lanterns left hanging from their original trees are the red one and the blue one. Simon is the only one left who remembers the red lantern, and Anise will remember the blue.

Also, MC appears to be the only one who is in the least bit shocked that there's an inn sitting in the middle of a forest with no roads or signs of life for miles. Although, after all that's happened, I suppose nobody should be shocked at anything anymore. :D

Good, actually -- I was afraid we might be getting a bit bloated with characters, but four is a good number. Once @Incanus posts we can see about calling you all together. After some more terrible things happen, of course.

I'll post as soon as there's no one left who plans to post! At this point in the RP it's kind of a breather -- get your bearings, eat and sleep, etc.

Actually, we might want to discuss a timeskip, during which sleeping is involved.

Not if she were vomited out right next to the inn where the other characters are right now. Or she could stumble out in front of Talan, who has set out on his own.
