DAS RACIS'
Just to be clear on my part, Jakobe is going for the thieves, right?
Jakobe Russenfalt

Watching on silently as their tactician argued the merits of his somewhat-crazy plan to other members of the Reclaimers, he nearly laughed when the young man threatened their leader. Yes, he had magic, but that was the only thing he had when compared to Hugh. Hugh had, at least somewhat, the group's loyalty, huge-ass armor, and sheer force on his side. Even if Gaius succeeded in cutting down their leader, he would be among the casualties as well.

Thankfully, the crisis was averted, even if it wasn't in the best manner possible. Kel took off shortly after Gaius did, after giving some slightly disturbing but well-intentioned words to the young mage who lacked control over her flames. Deciding to pitch in, he dismounted Thunderclap, affectionately rubbing the stallion's hair before approaching.

"He's right, you know. We'll have your back, your front and your sides. We'll handle the ugly parts, just follow your role and everything will go fine."
EDITED BECAUSE WOOPS A THING HAPPENED
Jesus, Lucius....

That...that is a moral dilemma you've got for us right there.
Giving Diamond a blank stare as she approached, he nodded. This was their job, like it or not, and he was glad that she was willing to defer to the description of the mission, even if everything had gone to hell. "Just stay by me. I'm assuming there will be more bugs in that damned mine. I'd recommend grabbing a rifle, because getting close is a good way to dig yourself an early grave, and I'd rather not have to bury anybody else just yet."

Turned towards the mine, Oswald watched the entrance carefully. "Guards, I need a brief on the situation at hand. What the hell is down there, and do you have suggestions on how to kill it?"
Team MODA is undergoing some internal issues, it seems. Yay.
Oswald Connolly- Escort Mission

Watching as Diamond hooked the truck up to the Unsubtle, Oswald wondered how much worse things could get. Of course things could get worse. They could get attacked right here, hooking things up. They could be betrayed and forced to kill the rest of the survivors, though he doubted that would happen after the slaughter they'd just experienced. When the guard came over and asked for help, Oswald was taken aback by Diamond's reaction.

"If you think staying here's a death wish, go and call for back up. We're authorized to get staff or a senior team for assistance, so do it. Our mission was to come here, stay the night and help the defenses, then go home. I intend to follow that mission. Besides, Marcus said to defend the camp. Those are our orders." Putting his hand on Diamond's shoulder, he looked at the guard. "Get back to the camp. I'll be along to help in a moment."

Diamond was going too far. Whatever she had going on her head was near paranoia levels of suspicion. Yes, things didn't add up here. For now, though, it was better to find out what was going on rather than throw around baseless accusations. "I'm going to help them defend the camp. Do what you will." Turning his back to his teammates, Oswald made his way over to the camp, getting in position near the mine entrance.

"Someone get me a gun and some ammo. I have a feeling my sword might not be the best thing for right now."
Blegh, Bloodborne is just a poor copy of Dark Souls.

<Snipped quote by MULTI_MEDIA_MAN>

I'd prefer if we at least had your team leader present, but if not, than we'll just have to divide the mission. We'll assume that Marcus is helping the truck while Oswald and Diamond go deal with the mine, since that brings us to our third and final phase.

And damn, now I really want to join this Souls party....

That's what me and Forsythe figured. They want Diamond to GTFO though, so we'll have some IC argument about that before we move forward. Then some more funz and hopefully we'll be done soonish.
