Oswald just tries to do too much, be everywhere at once, wants to save everybody.

Again, I will liken him to a less fucking insufferable version of Emiya Shirou.
OH JEEBUS. Lugu, you devil. Sending a first-year team on an S-rank mission!
^I've been thinking of a way to counteract that issue. While it wouldn't help the whole "Wouldn't it weigh the same?" issue that Jaune and Crocea Mors are prone too, it would help manage some of the difficulties wearing it: a skeletal suit with the plates stacked inside that shift out. There comes the issue of being able to fit that in there, however. Even with anime physics, it'd be a stretch. Urgh.

Also, yeah, tiredness. While Oswald's impressive endurance helps counteract that, he's going to get wildly tired after longer fights if he gets full armor.

If anything, I may cut back on his armor a little. Just stick with the gauntlets and brigandine...
So...I've read something very...interesting. And terrifying.

Plate armor apparently was minimally restrictive due to the way its weight was distributed around the body. Tournament armor, on the other hand...well, that stuff was ill-fitted, too heavy and wildly cumbersome.

Apparently tests have been done with untrained people, who can run and jump just fine while wearing full plate. OOoooooohhh boy

Wh-what do you mean? ;_;

>.> You know what I mean, foo. You the reason we about to get ate in the first place!
Maybe, isn't that why we have to earn credits? So that they can realize their full potential? Also this party took a turn for the worse. My fault really, but I guess Gren's going to need to do something to bring an end to this spat.

This is why I've participated in so many contests. I want Oswald to actually be good, instead of a wall of meat. Don't get me wrong, a wall of meat is a fine thing, but....

well, imagine that wall of meat in mecha-shift plate armor. Imagine it.

Now remember that plate armor was somewhat cumbersome, but also weighed just about 50 pounds. That is LESS weight than what Oswald wears now.

For more armor.

BWAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAHHH!!!
Sorry Harine, but Shiro has....not inspired confidence in Oswald.

At all, really...
Oswald Connolly-Lake

Groaning internally as Shiro's weapons locker plummeted into the lake for the Faunus to arm himself, Oswald forced himself to swim faster. With the development of this Ogdoad, whatever machines it was attacking, and Shiro's unceasing bad decisions, Oswald was almost ready to teleport within the water.

That was unpleasant. Very much so, in fact. Liquids were typically significantly more difficult to displace than air with the use of his Semblance. Which was why he continued to swim to Shiro, grabbing his arm forcefully and pointing his free hand toward the surface before leaving his comrade to make a decision. They weren't going to beat an amphibious Grimm in the water without a plan.

Then again, this was Shiro. They might be well and truly fucked.
Aaaaaaand everything just went to shit. Fear not, Oswald has a plan!

That I'll post later because Destiny
