Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

Alright, so I was thinking of making the next scene as two short ones in parallel. Touching on Kaleeth setting up her fist fighting and Fendros showing Ahnasha the hidden letters he's been exchanging with Llarasa.

Unfortunately, today has been a big day and I'm a bit too tired to sit down a write a post. I'll try writing one on the bus in the morning.
I feel like there has been much debate on the definition of words when dealing with portfolios. This has only limited benefits.

Why?

Because it's okay if domains and portfolios overlap.

Why?

Because as long as no two characters are the same, they are going to go about it in different ways.
And...
Broader domains are weaker than narrower domains, allowing subdomains and superdomains to coexist with distinction from one another.

As long as everyone understands what you are trying to explore with your character there are probably going to be few to no problems with what domains and portfolios you pick as long as they aren't carbon copies. If two characters are too alike, then we run into problems.

Also, creation is probably only limited in scope by its opposite; destruction.

Do we have a destruction god?

Damnit, this is like farting in a Perfectly airtight room and having Toun refuse to mar its Perfection by opening a window :|

Asking kindly shall not be what brings Toun to err. In my case, however, the belligerence is not from wanting to step back, but step forward.

Translation: I'm a lazy shit sometimes.
@Kho Pfft, fat chance; I'm at work. 'Ts your burn notice. Do it yourself, buddy.
@Muttonhawk

Normally I go about making someone extremely Evil. But the problem is that I am rusty. Its been over a year or so since I roleplayed on a forums maybe more. So I have Re Learn everything again. If i was not so rusty this would not be a issue..But I am rusty and Need some oil and to re learn everything again :P.

That is why i need help

Alright then, go about figuring out why your character is evil, what he wants from the world, and fill out the personality section. Then, describe what you want to do with your domain/portfolio, and then fill in the gaps.

The hardest part is getting started.
Will someone help me with creating my DemiGod.. He is going to be Death(Plagues).. - Kneels hoping someone will help him with the profile and flush it out better -

How do you normally go about characters, dude?
Well given that I've been hovering for a couple of hours I figure I may as well introduce myself.

I'm Iktomi nice to meet all of you. So a bit of quick background. Originally I was just reading the character sheets and a few IC posts and decided to message Kho to inform him that he had set up a fascinating roleplay and gathered a fantastic group of writers. One thing lead to another and the wedding is in a week he convinced me to create a character.

End of background, now current events! Before even thinking about a Demigod I would like to determine what his/her domain/portfolio will be. The simplest way to do that is determine who brought them into this world. Any volunteers?

Edit: Just discovered that their domain/portfolio isn't dependent on their parent so scratch that aspect. However I am still accepting applications to be the father/mother of the yet unknown demigod.

I would like to preemptively veto Vestec's nomination.

I put that in the first post of the Character thread. Very helpful, much thanks.

Toun's portfolio set is outdated :P
Imagine a God of Dental Hygiene that is worshipped by dentists everywhere. I'd worship that dude xD

Reminds me of the adeptus orthodontus. I'm on my phone right now, so in lieu of searching for and posting an image here, I suggest plugging it into Google image search yourself.

Also, I feel concerned that this was brought up on the day that I had a dentist appointment.
Alright, sounds good. Will Meesei be taking her pack with her or will she be going on her own?

I'm out at the moment, so I don't have my notes with me. I'm unsure whether we'll be skipping to the scouts returning or something sooner.
