Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

This time, Sabine was not as crippled to fear when she handed Meesei the staff. She was still hesitant, tripped over her speech, and shrank away in her body language, though she could still function. She promised to organise a time with Saraya to speak about her anxieties once she was sure Do'rhajul and Yerig were comfortable and secure.

Yerig was given the choice of a room normally used for guests to the clan or to stay in the same room as Do'rhajul.

Meesei's portal opened in a lavish, yet relatively small bedroom on the second floor of what was probably an inn in northern Valenwood. Though rainy outside, the dim light was made darker by a canopy of large trees out the windows.

Lunise was seated on the edge of a double bed, fiddling with her ring. As usual, she was dressed in her full Thalmor uniform, though she had removed her gloves, leaving them draped over a dresser. She looked up and stood immediately upon seeing Meesei.

"Good evening, Meesei," she said, almost cordially. Her behaviour was more friendly, walking up to gently embrace Meesei and plant a kiss on her lips. She then stepped back with her shoulders on Meesei's to look at her attire. "You've dressed up? I was wondering what has occupied you these past few days."
Quick question. Sorry, I didn't think of this until just now. Have Lunise and Meesei interacted since Sabine was captured?

If so, I imagine Lunise might have tried to pull some strings to help find where Do'rhajul's group might have gone before Sabine turned up again. It would have been a risk that Lunise would take, seeing Meesei so distraught.
Sure thing.
"You're welcome, Chung Po!" Ming grinned wide enough to force her eyes closed. She tilted her head back and towards Natsumi with her own appreciation. "Thank you, Natsumi." She lightly tapped the end of her bow on his head. "You always make songs extra fun."

The certain paladin showing his interest approached just as Ming was putting her instrument away. She didn't recognised the oddness of him knowing Ming's surname, instead pondering how playing an instrument was any less of an exercise in flexing muscles. Ming frowned and lifted an eyebrow, before shrugging and accepting the sentiment.

"Um..." Ming turned her eyes up and licked her back teeth when Marthysan gave his offer. She should probably let someone smarter make a decision like this. "Okay. If everyone else wants to come, Marthysan of the..." Ming squinted and sniffed at the air. "...Elf?"

So, where would you like to skip to after these scenes? We can assume the rest of Sabine, Yerig, and Do'rhajul's scene is just background stuff.
There were neither dissenters nor any extra points immediately raised by the council. After a pause, Vera spoke.

"It would appear that our next steps with the invasion will depend on how the Empire and Dominion will react." She addressed the entire council. "I suggest we hold off commitments to any particular plan until we can get more information. This invasion will happen. How, exactly, remains to be seen. Is there anything else to discuss?"

"Perhaps I will leave convincing her to another time, then," Sabine responded. "But I would like to speak with her today anyway. Just to be there."

*Laughs in Australian* You are right and wrong at the same time.
@Scarifar If you sit tight for maybe...ten-ish months, maybe? You're going to have something land on Niciel's lap from me, given current character arc trajectories. Go crazy collabing until then ;)

Lol sure, by then I'll probably have what I need to do done.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I was only one month late getting to this point. Not bad for a long term prediction.

(Granted, I'll probably write one more post for the Majus encounter before Minus, Cinead, and Inga hit the Valley of Peace properly.)
Darahil nodded understandingly. "I trust your judgement, Meesei. Although, be wary not to provoke Molag Bal out of our alliance. The last thing we need is another Daedric war to erupt just as we are trying to close the first."

Sabine cast her eyes down and hummed in tentative agreement. "I do not know if being practical will convince her fully. Not coming from me, her friend, instead of a superior." She sighed deeply. "She cannot stay angry, though. Maybe...if she were to speak to you. Maybe if you convinced her that you are truly sorry and knew you as a person instead of an enemy. Maybe then..." She trailed off.

After blinking a few times, Sabine lifted her eyes ahead. "I will not push her hard to do anything. She is a friend first. I want to know she is okay."
