Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

@Muttonhawk What about her learning about the Eyes of Reathos without spending Might?

Given what the eyes do, I don't mind so much. I trust you to write it up well enough.
@Slime Now that we have a domain-less god in the Gadar composite, I don't think it would be particularly wild to pick up a domain with no portfolios. You'll be missing some power until you pick up portfolios in the domain, but feel free to try it out.

(We'll see if the other Australians have anything to say about it though.)

As long as it's not wildly out of theme, I'm cool with it.
While Neesa's lectures and orders were hardly pleasant in their delivery, Lunise followed along willingly. She was simply relieved that Neesa was no longer focussing so intently on her.

Meanwhile, at the back of the procession, Sabine's small voice began. "The...scholars here, they have been studying the Dwemer since we arrived here," she said cautiously. "You speak as if you know much more. Did you study the Dwemer yourself?" She hesitated. "Have you met any?"
Excuse my slowing down a bit. I've been working out finding a new apartment to move into at the same time as organising a trip to visit my relatives.
Lunise was braced enough to behold Neesa's behaviour, if curious at the many floating articles in the room. Being abruptly singled out caught her silent for a moment. She turned incredulous before lightly shaking her head. "This is no palace, Hal-Neesa," Lunise said. "Are you quite alright?"

Meanwhile, Sabine couldn't take her eyes off the forks slowly hovering in various directions. Power was one thing, controlling this many objects through telekinesis took skill. Neesa made it look impossibly easy.
The pack hesitated to answer. The whole situation remained uncomfortable.

"I shall accompany you, for now," Lunise said. "If only to give her more to think about."

"I'll go, too," Sabine added. She looked afraid, but kept giving the Staff of Magnus looks that betrayed where she was truly going to be calm about it all.

Janius gave Kaleeth a look and worried his brow. He turned his eyes to Meesei and breathed in. "I don't know how much help I'll be. I think I first want to let the boys know enough about this not to get curious."

"Me too," Fendros said tersely. He was looking at a nearby wall with frustration in his eyes.

Serge remained passive during Lilly's tour. He did not pay Lilly so much as a second of eye contact as he scanned around the rooms, pretending to look like he was noticing things. In his mind, he would rather not have met Lilly or Doc at all. The fact that they were knew to his knowledge after the operations against TVP made them a risk. A risk he had no interest of being involved with. It was too late now.

"I'm gonna need to use the bathroom," Serge said, pointing to one side from his hip. His forward-held head turned as he crept away for a moment.

He didn't really need to take a leak. He just needed a minute to think and brush up. He checked his teeth, pushed down the rebellious strands of short hair, straightened his collar, and leant forward with his hands on the basin. Alright, he thought to himself, staring at his left pupil in the mirror. What's the play?

There were too many questions to go in and swallow this mission whole. He carved the information they needed into steps and substeps, many of which were fuzzy and dependent on what they didn't know. But they were possible methods. One way or another, it would all fit together.

>It all fits together! move: 10. 3 hold gained, each usable to answer a research question at any time as information unfurls!
"Now, I don't like the sound of that at all," Janius said with one narrowed eye. "You saw the ways she...ahem, entertained herself in that Xanmeer. Her tastes aren't exactly savoury."

Lunise rolled her eyes. "Janius, I believe Meesei was alluding to the fun she was having goading me into anger." She addressed Meesei again. "Playing that game with her is a dangerous approach no matter how you do it, Meesei."

"How long do you need to keep her occupied?" Sabine asked.

"For as long as it takes for the Dominion and Empire to stage their military commitments here." Lunise shifted uncomfortably.
Collabs underway, Yorum slowly progressing like Ben fecking Hur.

And then this had to happen...
Lunise emitted a short hum. She did not answer immediately.

"Even if she isn't as old as Saint Alessia's rebellion," Janius said as he lifted off his helmet. "She might have been old enough to encounter the Thalmor's goals before they took power." He held the helmet under his arm. "Of course, she have reasons to lie."

At that point, Lunise lifted her eyes. "I do think it is worth asking her," she said. "But I shall not be the one speaking to her. It is my belief that she wishes to hold over my head compromising information. I am not meant to know about the Thalmor's ultimate goals. This is a trap to have her tie strings around my wrists and tug at them."

"Wait," Fendros lowered his brow and tilted his head. "If you don't investigate her, would that not imply to her that you know what she speaks of already?"

"It may, but that is not the point," Lunise corrected. "She cannot prove I know. Indeed, my protocol would be to make her known to my superiors. But I am no mindless thrall; any move against her would not turn out well short of shipping across the most powerful mages in the Dominion. I shall not grant her any purchase to use me or the forces that the Dominion may send." She turned her head to Meesei. "But you, Meesei? Or...Sabine, perhaps? You would both be right and prudent to follow up her little invitation. That knowledge cannot harm you. But she may still seek to lie and harm you in other ways. Vigilance is necessary."
