Both of her parents were very kind and growing up the Red Lake wolf pack was known to be rather peaceful but only attacked when provoked into fighting. Caroline was the very loving and caring type and she was the closest to her younger sister Riley, the two of them were inseparable, and were always seen to be hunting with each other. When the incident finally happened and the hunters invaded their town a lot of the Red Lake pack members went to defend their home.
But they were eventually overrun and were forced to surrender, their parents ordered both Riley and Caroline to flee which they both did. As they fled into the woods Riley's foot was caught in a bear trap. Caroline tried her best to save her sister, before Riley finally told Caroline to run away, eventually Caroline started to run away looking over at her sister one last time as the hunters ended up capturing her. Since that day Caroline vowed to find her sister once more, Caroline eventually met up with another pack since then she has been in hiding still hoping one day to be reunited with her sister.

As she grew older Riley became a rather good hunter for the pack under the guidance of her older sister. During the passing years Riley was subjected to intense experiments anything from shock therapy to surgery.
