History: Elena was born into a rather small American family having only a younger brother she was raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, growing up Elena was always interested in airplanes as well as space. As Elena went into high school she was extremely smart and always got good grades though she was the best in math and science she also leaned Spanish which she picked up rather quickly, and eventually graduated in honors at age eighteen. She eventually chose to go to college for aeronautical engineering and mathematics, and chose to also pick up two more languages Russian and Japanese, enjoying both languages very well.

When Elena graduated college at the age of twenty-four she decided to join the United States Air Force, much to her family's dismay but they accepted it eventually. She went through the next few years of training and at the age of the age of thirty Elena was a Second Lieutenant and able to fly. Elena was then deployed to the Middle East where she saw some combat and became a very well known pilot where she caught the eye of the SGC.

Elena was assigned to the Prometheus when Anubis' fleet invaded Earth using the F-302 she joined in fending off the Goa'uld Death Gliders, managing to take down several of them Elena was shot down by one of the Death Gliders. Shortly after the battle Elena was injured and rescued a few hours later with several broken bones and several stitches. After spending several months recovering, and some rehab Elena was fit for duty again and was assigned to the Atlantis Expedition. Elena went through several off world missions and engagements with the Wraith, and eventually discovered having the ATA gene Elena eventually learned how to pilot a Puddle Jumper. 

After spending sometime going on off world missions Elena, when the Asurans returned Elena was reassigned to the Apollo and participated in the Battle of Asuras in a F-302, when the battle was over she was reassigned back to Earth.

Elena smiled softly as she let go of Blaire and nodded at her, knowing that Blaire liked to drink and use prescribed meds but she knew to never do any of that, though Elena did like to have a beer every now and then. "Sure thing." Elena said as she headed into the kitchen and opened the fridge, finding a can of Pepsi in the fridge. She grabbed it and tossed it over to her friend, Elena fell silent when Blaire did finally bring up the whole news incident over at the school site.

When Blaire finally showed her power to her Elena turned to look over at the blue plastic recycle bin and noticed that it was now the size of a toy and the bottles inside were very small as well. Feeling like a weight was also lifted from her shoulders, finally she had a friend who was just like her. She didn't even trust telling her other friends on campus about her ability, she knew how her own family would have reacted when her ability first emerged which was one of the main reasons for moving to the other end of the country just to get away from them. Looking back over at Blaire and smiled. "It feels so much better now, finally I can have someone to turn to." Elena smiled and went to give Blaire another hug before letting go.

Taking a few steps back Elena blushed slightly and looked back over towards the plastic blue recycle bin. "So uh, what did you find out that you can shrink things?" Elena asked smiling. "I sort of found mine, when I had my last argument with my parents before moving out."
