History: Melanie was originally was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with her family, her father was a college teacher while her mother was a nurse. She is the oldest of two siblings Elena Parks her younger sister a year younger then she is and her older brother Benjamin who is two years older then Melanie. Growing up Melanie started to slowly fall in love with music, finding some old records her father had in the attic the music her father listened to when he was a little kid. Melanie would always sing along to the music she likes when Melanie went to high school she always got very good grades, she eventually made a few friends who started up a small high school band together singing at dances and other school events.

She finished high school with honors and went to college for music, where she started to find out that she was starting to feel more attracted towards women Melanie eventually found a woman named Sarah the two of them instantly had a connection and started to date each other. After graduating Melanie moved in with her girlfriend, and focused on her music until Melanie was discovered by a producer who hooked her up with a music contract. After spending about a year writing her first album which instantly became a success she was then going on tours across the US, and to different parts around the world.

Now finished with her first music tour Melanie currently lives in Winnipeg with her girlfriend enjoying the time off and relaxing with the time she has off Melanie spends most of her time with her friends and her girlfriend.

History: Elena was born into a rather small American family having only a younger brother she was raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, growing up Elena was always interested in airplanes as well as space. As Elena went into high school she was extremely smart and always got good grades though she was the best in math and science she also leaned Spanish which she picked up rather quickly, and eventually graduated in honors at age eighteen. She eventually chose to go to college for aeronautical engineering and mathematics, and chose to also pick up two more languages Russian and Japanese, enjoying both languages very well.

When Elena graduated college at the age of twenty-four she decided to join the United States Air Force, much to her family's dismay but they accepted it eventually. She went through the next few years of training and at the age of the age of thirty Elena was a Second Lieutenant and able to fly. Elena was then deployed to the Middle East where she saw some combat and became a very well known pilot where she caught the eye of the SGC.

Elena was assigned to the Prometheus when Anubis' fleet invaded Earth using the F-302 she joined in fending off the Goa'uld Death Gliders, managing to take down several of them Elena was shot down by one of the Death Gliders. Shortly after the battle Elena was injured and rescued a few hours later with several broken bones and several stitches. After spending several months recovering, and some rehab Elena was fit for duty again and was assigned to the Atlantis Expedition. Elena went through several off world missions and engagements with the Wraith, and eventually discovered having the ATA gene Elena eventually learned how to pilot a Puddle Jumper.

After spending sometime going on off world missions Elena, when the Asurans returned Elena was reassigned to the Apollo and participated in the Battle of Asuras in a F-302, when the battle was over she was reassigned back to Earth.

Elena looked at Blaire and was completely shocked when she told her that the CIA had come to her house and were asking her questions and were about to kill her. She was silent for a really long time unsure what she should say or even do, leaning against the wall of the small apartment kitchen and listened to her friend. Elena didn't want to abandon a friend especially when she was just like herself and having an ability, and wanted to help her friend out. And since she exposed herself to the whole world the government could be after her as well, Elena's eyes met Blaire's and noticed the tears starting to well up in her face.

Elena quickly walked up to Blaire and pulled her into another hug just to try and comfort her friend, before backing up and brushed a stray strand of hair away from her face. "It's okay Blaire, we just have to stick together now and figure out what to do." Elena said and looked down at the files as Blaire took it out and used her ability to enlarge it. She took the files her eyes starting to scan what it mentioned about Building 26, seeing a few names and noticed Nathan Petrel's name there as well and a few others. Reading what the file said her eyes meeting Blaire's once more. "So your saying that the Government knew about us this whole time way before Claire even exposed us to the rest of the world?"

Putting the files back down Elena was in way over her head and didn't even know what to do or even go, thinking for awhile. "Think we are safe here?" Elena finally asked her friend.

Elena followed a group towards the location where they were scheduled to be beamed up to the Nyx, carrying with her a backpack as well as a duffle bag, filled with her personal items as well as what looked like a guitar case. Having this reassignment at the very last minute, given to her by General O'Neil, closing her eyes she relaxed as she heard the beaming start and instantly she opened them again seeing that she was now in the ship. It felt completely different from a 304, watching as a few of the people who beamed up with her scatter Elena decided to walk around the ship before reporting to the captain.

Searching around the halls everything was labeled like most ships were she eventually found the crew quarters and opened one of the vacant rooms and noticed that they were a lot bigger then her previous quarters were, tossing her bags onto the bed. She looked around the room and spotted a few jumpsuits in the closet. Spending about ten minutes putting all of her things away she walked out of her quarters and started walking down the hallway. As she walked down the hallway Elena looked over at two crew members who appeared to be Asian one of them a female and the other a male who she could have recognized in her previous assignment at Atlantis, though she never had the time to get to know him or even knew his name.

Where she wanted to go however was more interesting to her was the hangar bay, taking her a few minutes of walking down the hallways she finally found the hangar bay. Elena walked down the deck seeing ten F-302's on either end of the room, she smiled widely remembering her first time flying one was during Anubis' invasion of Earth although she remembered getting shot down by one of the Goa'uld Death Gliders. The F-302's looked vaguely like the Death Gliders, but they were way better she thought.

Then Elena turned around to look at a newer looking ship one she hadn't seen before and started to approach it and slowly ran her hand along the hull of it.
