As Melanie opened up the newspaper, it was a relaxing morning for her bringing up her legs on the chair resting across from her reading through the news nothing interesting but she liked reading it anyway. Melanie took a bite out of her croissant, before hearing a familiar voice talking to Max the cashier, looking up from her paper Melanie smiled softly as she grabbed her pastries. "Hope to see you later cutie, even if it is your day off." Clariel always did try and hit on her at work, but she always resisted it or just did a little teasing of her own. "You will be seeing me singing tonight." Melanie said and waved goodbye to her coworker knowing where Clairel will be working at Huskers today. Melanie finished her shot of espresso as well as her second croissant.
Taking out her wallet Melanie left a small little tip and headed back out onto the sidewalk, she took out her car keys and unlocked her car climbing inside Melanie put her keys into the ignition waiting for another car to pass before pulling out from her parking spot. Melanie started to drive further from the center of town and more towards the outskirts where the marketplace was. Parking her car Melanie ran a hand through her hair as she started walking down into the marketplace grabbing a bag as she passed through some of the stands seeing the various fruits, vegetables, fish and meats out on display.
Melanie paid for all that she needed for the week, Melanie passed by a few more stands selling various other things from furniture, house decorations, and even some useless junk. Melanie would stop looking at some of the things there.
