Premise:

Paragon City originally got it's name from it's first hero Captain Paragon, after the second World War, he formed a team called The Defenders. They have since protected the city from various threats around the city, as well as the world. Since then the city has been known for it's super heroes, vigilantes and super villains, the team's roster has grown and shrunk over the years.

In 2050 the city was hit with tragedy, a super villain who went by the name Lord Thunder who had the power to manipulate weather. He created a massive storm that threatened to destroy the US, the Defenders were able to defeat Lord Thunder however at the cost of three of it's members including it's oldest and greatest defender Captain Paragon.

Since then the team has disbanded and their headquarters has long since been abandoned the members of the Defenders have gone silent. Now crime has suddenly started to skyrocket and violence across the city, it is now up to a new group of heroes to step up and defend the city. Or new villains to further bring the city down to it's knees.

• Evolved Humans: You got your powers through evolution, people mainly call these people Evos. (Basically this universe's version of mutants from Marvel.)
• Enhanced Humans: You willingly went through a procedure that gave you your powers, or you ended up getting into an accident where you gained powers.
• Demigods: You are a son or daughter of a god from mythology, you have one of their abilities as well as enhanced strength. Though the gods never mettle in mortal affairs. (Basically this universe's version of Thor and so on. Only real world mythologies norse, egyptian, greek, roman. etc)
• Mystics: You get your powers through the practice of the arcane and mystic arts. Or you gain your powers through a mystic artifact, or a deal with an other worldly being.

• Hero: You are a defender of Paragon City, and have a strong moral sense to protect the innocent.

• Paragon City: The city is located in Florida's East Coast, the city originally was once called Nighthaven up until the Second World War, the city was renamed after it's defender and first known hero by the name of Captain Paragon. Since then the city has been known for it's super heroes, who have moved on and made homes in other parts of the world. The city nearly rivals New York City in terms of population and financial power to. The city's main team is The Defenders, up until recently they protected the city. However the team has disbanded and their former HQ vacated and open for new heroes to take up residents since the team's disbandment the city's crime rate has skyrocketed.
• Nighthaven: It is the oldest part of the city and is home to most of the cities magic users and is also the home to the Mystics Sanctum. Also Veridian Technologies HQ is located in this district as well to, a gang called The Void also operates primarily here.
• The Financial District: It is the beating heart of the city, most of the cities major banks are located here and major businesses as well operate here. The Delgato Crime Family's HQ is also located here and own many of the major businesses in the area.
• Greyport: Greyport is the primary place where the city gets its imported goods across the world come in and out of this port and also where most of the factories are located in this district. It is also home to Paragon City's International Airport the Delgato Family also owns the port and this is where most of the drugs come through and into the city.
• Riverside: Riverside is where most of the middle class of the city live it is home to Paragon City's Academy for Powered Youth goes to. There are also normal schools throughout this district as well to the Delgato's own a few small businesses in this district as well to a lesser extent. This district is also home to Paragon City's team The Defender's HQ is located, along with City Hall, Paragon City's History Museum and the Department of Super Human Affair's HQ.
• Halcyon Heights: It is where the city's rich, wealthy, powerful and well connected live in, this part of the city is very beautiful and has access to the beaches. All of the high end restaurants are located here as well to. The Puritan gang secretly operates out of this district.
• Mapelview: This is the poorest and downtrodden and homeless live in, this part of the city is riddled with skyrocketing crime. This district is home to Abadon Memorial Hospital, Paragon City's Police and Fire Department are also here. This district is home to the 70th Street Gang.
• Little Asia: The smallest of the districts within the city, it is home to the city's Asian culture and cuisine. The Blue Dragon gang operates out of this district as well to.
• Tartarus Supermax Prison: Locally it also goes by the name The Pit tt is Paragon City's prison it keeps all of the city's criminals and powered villains in. The top floors of the prison is where the prison's general population stays. However below the surface of the prison is where the city's most dangerous and powered villains go to. If a prison riot where to happen below ground the Warden can flood the lower levels if need be.
• Millenia Park: A very beautiful park in the heart of the city, with various places to walk, and even swim in the ponds. A lot of the cities events are played here from concerts to political rallies, protest, gatherings, marathons and anything in between to. The park has a few shops along with a number of gazebos overlooking the various ponds of the lake it is the most peaceful location in the city.

The Organizations and Gangs of Paragon City

• The Defenders: The city's long time defenders, however the team has long since been disbanded their HQ still stands ready for anyone to reform the team. They have a long history of defending the city and world from it's various threats. Current leader is none and HQ is currently vacant.
• The Department of Superhuman Affairs: It is the worlds largest organization and helps coordinate with the world's various super heroes and government against threats from villains and otherworldly threats that seek to destroy the world. Their HQ is in Paragon City and the current Director is Annabelle Monroe.
• Veridian Technologies: Veridian Technologies used to be a weapons manufacturer with thousands of military contracts around the world. However in the last five years the company has stopped creating weapons and has switched to biotechnology as well as clean energy initiatives. The sudden change was made by the current CEO of Veridian Diana Smith.
• The Mystic's Sanctum: One of the Paragon City's mysterious organizations not much is known about them. However they protect the city from otherworldly and supernatural threats that threaten to harm the city. Current leader is a mystery.
• The Delgato Crime Family: It is the largest crime family in the city and have their hands in just about everything in the city even the mayor's office. They do anything from money laundering, racketeering, even murder. They are very good at getting away with most of their crimes, they have been known to make people such as news reporters, police and political figures to 'disappear' for good. The current head of the family is Anthony Delgato.
• The Void: They are a relatively new gang in the city and not much is really known about them, they are known for being mainly magic users and are known for ritualistic killings. Their current leader is a woman that goes by the name of Amara.
• The Puritans: They are a known domestic terrorist organization and have many chapters throughout the US, they deem anyone with powers or magic to be heretics and will go out of their way to attack anyone with powers. They don't care about collateral damage either. The current Chapter Head of Paragon City is Zachariah Livingston.
• The 70th Street Gang: This gang operates out of Mapelview and they dabble in just about any crime from racketeering, vandalism, bank robbery, drug trafficking and murder. They have a rivalry for territory with The Blue Dragons. The current leader of the 70th Street Gang is Valentina Vega.
• The Blue Dragons: They are the smallest gang and with the smallest territory, they are known for drug and human trafficking racketeering as well as murder they have a major rivalry with the 70th Street Gang. The current leader of the gang is Xiao Feng.

BRIEF Bio: Diana was born to a single mother, she never really knew who her father was growing up really, however she was born and raised by her mother. She was around ten years old when her teleportation powers emerged, Diana however kept it a secret from her mother and the rest of her family. Diana however looked up to the heroes around Liberty City, when Diana turned nineteen years old she was going out to dinner with her mother when someone came up to try and rob them.

In the process they ended up shooting and killing her mother, without anyone in her family nearby Diana was alone. She ended taking to becoming a vigilante and taking the alias of Artemis, she has yet to find the one who killed her mother but intends on finding out who they are and tracking them down in order to avenge her mother's death.

Storylines:
Searching for her mother's killed.
Finding out who her biological father is be it another hero or a villain.
Notes: Think of Diana as a mix between Hawkeye and Nightcrawler's teleportation.

Hollie stands at around 5'7, she has light skin and light brown eyes, she has long wavey black hair that tends to get curly if she doesn't tend to it often. Her usual attire tends to be a black or grey t-shirt over a denim or leather jacket also black or grey. Blue jeans as well as a belt and a pair of combat boots as well to, Hollie doesn't have any distinguishing marks like scars really except for one on her leg when she was younger.

When you first meet Hollie she tends to be a little bit of a loner at times, she has a bit of a harder time trusting people and see the worst in them at first mainly due to being born outside of the walls. Hollie once she does eventually let people that she trusts in she is known to be a pretty loyal friend and protective of them. If she considers you a friend she'll tell you whats on her mind and won't hold back her opinions on things either.

Hollie was born a year into the zombie apocalypse her mother was a doctor and her father was a teacher and her uncle was known as a criminal. However the three of them would work together and made it work Hollie never really knew what the world was like before the zombies. When she was around seven years old they were looking for some supplies, when Hollie's father ended up getting attacked by a zombie. He ended up getting bitten and eventually turned into a zombie as a result and running into a few small hostile groups here and there.

About a year after his death Hollie and her family eventually found the settlement that they now call home. Hollie's mother due to being a doctor was quickly assigned to the local hospital. Her uncle was given the job to work as a metal worker creating things such as knives and other weapons and building material. Hollie interns by day at the hospital now and by night she can be seen training with her uncle in hand to hand combat and some small firearms.

Diana gave Victoria a friendly smile as she took her hand and shook it. "It's nice to meet you Victoria." Diana said as she looked at the girl for a moment, she wore a suit which was a little bit weird to be over dressed in her opinion. She started to pull out her notebooks setting them down on her desk as well as her pen and pencils to. She looked back at Victoria for a moment she hadn't seen her before and she knew a couple of people in school by name Victoria as far as she knew wasn't in the school last year.

"Are you new here?" Diana asked Victoria, as she set her book onto the desk and turned to face her their teacher hadn't come in just yet and she figured she could make some small talk and get to know Victoria a little bit better. "If you need a tour of the school or something I can show you around if you haven't gotten one yet, and I could show you where your dorm assignment is to." Diana offered, as the last of the students started to come in.

Just then their teacher came into the classroom, an older guy around in his early fifties or show with long brown hair thats slightly greying in places. "Alright, hope you all had a good summer." He said as he looked over at his students as he took out his student roster to do attendance.
