Also, I think @natty wanted to use Baron Zemo, although I think Natty only really asked whether anyone was using him.

Yeah I have no interest in playing Zemo :P Just wanted to know as I was considering making use of the Masters of Evil in regards to a future enemy i was going to have America go up against. Had an idea to do something similar to what Doc Oct is doing in the most recent series of Ultimate Spider-Man and have him hold "try-outs", or at least looking into the idea of it! Although that would require Zemo to have made an appearance first as a big baddie at one point :P

Also, speaking of, what is the state of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Is it AoS kinda deal, still at height of full power or still on the rise? I'm reading through S1 but that is a LOT of text walls to get through. Finally, what's the deal on collab posts? Is it PMs, a collab document set-up or is it up to ourselves how we do it?

S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently at the height of their power, with them also managing the Avengers

As for collabs, it up to ourselves really! While some may prefer collab documents, others may just like consecutive back-to-back posts, etc.

Under normal circumstances, would adore the prospect of a power cut. It gave him a real reason to step away from the television. A reason to head to that rickety old IKEA bookshelf in the corner and tear straight into a new world of adventure, romance, and excitement. He loved this time; curled up on the couch surrounded by an array of dimly lit candles, reading peacefully, his roommate fidgeting nervously on the armchair in front of him as she worried about how to get her mobile data working. It had been a simpler time.

Things were different now however. While Amir loved having time alone with just his thoughts and a good book, he knew that wouldn’t ever be an option again. Because now it wasn’t just him alone with his thoughts and a good book. Now it was him, a good book, and the Dark Lord Cthulhu chatting away in his head. Well chatting away probably wasn’t the best way to describe it. All he was doing was whispering. Whispering about Amir’s potential in the world. However the “potential” he spoke of wasn’t something that Amir was all too happy with. The whisperings often grew worse when Amir was alone, hence why reading wasn’t really much of an option anymore. He had to do something to take his mind away from the creepy little parasite.

Jogging was his solution; an activity that seemed to be beneficial in more ways than just blocking his voice out. It was soothing and relaxing for Amir, which was good considering it had become a daily routine of his. Now that the city was facing a mass power outage however, Amir had been jogging quite a lot more than his usual daily amount. He wasn’t stupid though. As Brooke had screeched to him worriedly before he had left the apartment, the streets probably weren’t the safest places to be at this kind of night, especially with the lack of lighting around. And especially for someone of his ethnicity. She was right of course. The news had been showing images and clips of looters from the previous night, all day. It was easy to assume that they’d continue.

Regardless Amir had to get out of that apartment. He had been going stir crazy, with him even beginning to follow the same erratic behaviour of Brooke. It wasn’t until the voice began speaking in his head one more that he had become adamant to leave. No way was he letting that thing grind his gears. The soft menacing voice of Cthulhu was quickly drowned out by the sound of the city’s nightlife as soon as he stepped outside, refreshing Amir slightly.

Still weary of Brooke’s previous warnings however, Amir decided not to take his run into the centre of The Sound and the Lower East Side like he had originally planned, instead turning up a side street, towards the looming peak of Mount Nysa that was just noticeable between the rooftops. If there was one place he could run peacefully without fear of looters and muggers, it was the Olympus District.

What harm could he come to there?
Thought I'd say, I'm not planning on doing much more inter-dimensional stuff in the future! Once i'm done with the current mini-arc i'm doing, it's back to regular heroics and stuff! Just wanted to do something reminiscent of the AVENGERS #0 they released at the start of ANAD Marvel!
Getting a post done here is the next thing on my list so i'm planning on starting something once i return home later today.

It's cool if I don't rush my interaction with everyone and the speedster right? Thought it might seem a bit more natural or something if I had Amir get involved once a fight/scuffle or whatever has already started as at the moment i don't feel like he'd actively try and get involved unless someone was in trouble?

It hadn’t taken long for America Chavez to reach the edge of the Earth’s orbit, with the teenager coming to a steady halt just a short distance from the International Space Station. Her speed had increased tremendously this past month, along with the rest of her superhuman abilities. Weeks of intense training had done the job; pushing America to the extremes.

All because of that damned original training session with the Avengers. Hyperion had absolutely destroyed them; with the titan of a man simply squatting the team away as if they were just a bunch of annoying fleas. It had been embarrassing. Embarrassing enough to act as the motivation that America needed to improve.

Now she was finally ready.

Glancing around, her eyes caught hold of her target. It was a fair distance away, barely noticeable unless you knew what you look for. It was a fault. A fault right through space itself. Numerous faults like this one had been detected all over the globe over the past couple of days; the locations of which having been quarantined by S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel. Given that this one wasn’t exactly on the planet, it would seem that America would be the best option of dealing with it. Especially considering dimensional holes were her speciality.

Her dimensional abilities was something else that she had improved during her time working alongside S.H.I.E.L.D. Rubbing her hands together, Ms. America got to work. She kicked her foot out violently, striking the emptiness of space in front of her. Upon realizing that nothing had happened, America simply frowned, before muttering a set of profanities to herself. She repeated the acting, thrusting her foot forward, until finally after several powerful kicks, her foot finally seemed to impact with something.

At once the spot beneath her feet came alive with a white blinding light, which radiated loudly through space’s darkness. As the light died down, the whiteness took the shape of a perfect star.. America flashed a smile as she glanced back up towards her destination, bringing her right foot back up as she did so. With one last powerful kick, she stamped downwards, her foot shattering the star beneath her. She feel forward through the hole she had created, and in doing so, the whole world seemed to twist and contort around her. Until finally it stopped, with America finding herself in a completely different spot. She knew where she was before she even turned to look. The fault was radiating the same light and energy as her portals.

Turning, she was shocked to see how large it was. While most of the ones discovered on Earth had been nothing more than a metre or two long, this one was much bigger; probably the size of a lorry. What more was that unlike the Earthbound faults, it would seem that this one was open slightly, hence the great admittance of light. That honestly wouldn’t have been too bad, if it weren’t for the silhouettes that could be seen within. Something was coming out.

Ms. America braced herself as her view was invaded by a swarm of small green insectoid looking creatures, as they bit and clawed their way out of the fault.

Ay dios!" She swore aloud.

This was about to get interesting.
Half way through a post and then discovered that my overwatch download was done! Will finish it later tonight!
Anyone have any plans for the Masters of Evil? Or even just Zemo?
Nah it's cool! I just like to melodramatically complain about things!
I'll get a post up by the end of the week! :)

Damn Wraith stole my speech colour! D:

As soon as Scott pressed the trigger, the botanical gardens below him flew into chaos. Bursts of electricity seemingly sprouted from the electrical EMP coils attached to the backs of the crazy ants covering the glass dome, sending a very brightly coloured surge of electrical energy inside the gardens. For a brief second, the sound of an alarm could be heard over the sound of static, only for it to be struck short by the force of the EMP. Through the glass, Scott could make out the sight of the metallic insects inside dropping from the air deactivated, followed by a very feminine shriek. Obviously somebody was not very happy to find her killer robots shut down.

Following suit with the Bandit’s falling bugs from inside, Ant-Man steered his carpenter ant down towards the ground, moving quickly. All around him, his ants followed suit, making their way down the botanical garden’s glass walls. They converged on a window a couple of metres off the ground on the east side of the building. The mass of red insects encircled it, painting a clear target for Scott, as he shot forward on his mount. They passed through the open window with ease, with Ant-Man instantly finding himself surrounded by plant life. That was no issue for the astonishing Ant-Man though, as the miniature hero managed to steer his way through the leaves in no time at all.

As the edge of the treeline came into side, Ant-Man leaped forward, springing off of his ride. Midway through the air, he shifted in size, resulting in him emerging with a flash from the darkness and into the open centre of the gardens. The place certainly wasn’t pretty.

Dirt and mud covered the floor, alongside the occasional pool of filthy looking water. However as expected, they were also joined by the metallic remains of the robotic insects. There must have been hundreds of them laying there .The centrepiece of the room, which had long ago been a very ugly looking stone fountain was no little more than a small pile of rubble. To Scott’s left was the generators he had spotted previously. Despite being top of the line, the things were currently motionless and silent, having fallen victim to the EMP. They weren’t the only things to be affected by it though. A line of computers were sat on the other side of the room, mirroring the setup located in the original Bug-Eyed Bandit’s warehouse. It would seem that the EMP had also broken the sprinkler system too, with water erupting ferociously from pipes on the railings above. And to top it off, someone was now unfortunately shooting at Ant-Man with a gun.

Luckily the Bug-Eyed Bandit’s aim was all that sharp, meaning that Scott had time to dive behind cover; with the fountain finally finding some use after all these years.

You think I’m powerless without my hive, Ant-Man?” She cried manically, firing two more shots in his general direction.

Yes I do!” Scott cut in cockily before she could continue.

The comment seemed to stop her in her tracks for a few seconds. Deciding to test his luck, Scott peered over the fountain’s rubble in an effort to get a look at the full situation. Unfortunately he was simply met with gunfire once more.

Shut your mouth Bug Boy!

"That's Spider-Man's nickname actually.

I said shut it!” She cried once more. Instead of the sound of a gunshot rupturing the air however, all Scott could hear was a click.

He smirked. Looked like she was out of ammo. Springing to his feet, he vaulted the rubble and charged towards the purple clad woman, as she scrambled to reload the weapon. Just as she fired once more however, Ant-Man was leaping into the air and shrinking once more. His tiny body found itself landing on the barrel of the pistol, and with one more leap, he found himself leaping up towards the Bugged-Eyed Bandit’s bright green goggles, his fist flying forward as he did so.

Bug-Eyed Bandit? More like Black-eyed Bandit!” Scott exclaimed loudly, regaining his original size and posing somewhat heroically above the now unconscious woman. That was until he realized what he said, and began to shift uncomfortably between his feet. “Yeah, that’s probably…Forget I said that. I’d… I’d never hit a woman.
