@Sep Yeah for sure, I just figure while we're doing this we can nail down what their reactions and initial impressions have been so far. That'll probably inform how Dandy treats them in turn. While they are universally outgoing, if others don't like them Dandy will probably avoid them.

How does something like this sound?

Initially, Gabi found herself slightly terrified of Dandy, and would've probably avoided them a bit if Julian hadn't suggested she try and translate. But in the few sessions they've had together, despite the fact that they've not been successful in being able to linguistically communicate, she's discovered first-hand that they're not the scary monster she first thought they were
I mean Natty we discussed it here.

I've just added something for Conor to my sheet if you want to take a look! :)

Should be getting around to messaging everyone else shortly!
I would say the #1 that informs Dandelion's character is their difficulty communicating; whatever they are, they didn't evolve and develop language as a form of communication naturally, and so expressing themselves with words is difficult for them. The struggle this brings them is the source of their loneliness and isolation on Earth, as much as they like humans they struggle to connect with them.

It won't work at all, but Gabi will try their hardest:

Multilingual:
Gabi is able to instantly communicate in any earthly dialect.

Definitely a fan of this first "mission" idea!
@Natty talking about divides amongst our magical sub-community, what would you like from Conor? Perhaps he's trying to find a way to let her use the powers, but prevent the transformation?

I feel at this point Gabi isn't too worried about the transformation, and would just brush off any remark about it. This could be something to look into in the future though, after a conflict causes it to extend much further than it had previously, for example. Or, despite her protests that it doesn't matter currently, he could be looking into it regardless without her knowledge.

For the time being, he could be helping her with just researching Mayan culture, etc. While her dad told her stories as a kid, there's still a lot she doesn't know and is curious about. I imagine Conor would be very eager to look into this with her, given this is the first time the Mayan Gods have done anything in hundreds of years
I love the idea of Selene trying to learn runic magic and getting frustrated/giving up when she doesn't learn it in five minutes. She'll happily be a part of mini-magic-squad, but will probably be a bit quietly resentful that her peers are so much further along their magic training compared to her. Especially with Gabi taking the Wonder Girl title, Selene has a weird relationship with WW where she constantly seeks validation but also kind of hates her for being so controlling over Selene's life and stealing her from her family twice over.
Basically she a steamy insecure jealous mess but tries not to let it affect her relationships, especially not with team-mates. Long term I'd like to Selene and Gabi train together; as she would be very helpful in unlocking her demi-god physiology if not magic, and judging only from the character sheets it seems they'd mesh really well. We make our own demi-goddess sub-group in the magic sub group.

I like the sound of this! Maybe initially there could be some coldness between the two of them to an extent? I feel if Gabi gets any kind of idea that someone doesn't like her/has a problem with her, she'll get hostile herself, which could be a fun dynamic until they eventually talk and realise how well they'd mesh together

But you could be completely new to the team or as old as the team gets. Julian would've just recently acquired the penthouse so everyone would be new to their current accommodations.

Gabi will be one of the later members to join i think, because as discussed, she was hesitant to leave Guatemala.
I really like Gabi! I think Eilidh will too. Girl gang time though.

(In all honesty, she'll like everyone!)

Girl gang needs to happen. I can really picture Cece leading it
@Natty[Tackytaff][Theyra] we gotta have some kind of magic gang going on.

I'd be up for joining the mini sub-team of magic users.

I do feel like Gabi may also grow closer to more of the non-US members of the group, due to them all being cultural outsiders to an extent.

@Tackytaff Selene and Gabi's relationship could be an interesting topic to discuss, due to them both being somewhat Wonder Woman related. How would Selene feel about Gabi taking on the Wonder Girl title, for example, despite having never met Diana herself?
