Yea!

Immortality is my shtick. Get your grubby hand/paws off it.

Also... does anyone else laugh for the wrong reasons when Bunnita says 'BOING'?
I don't like being the guy who sticks his dick in the evening's pudding, but things don't seem to be going so well for us.

Loosing a player, not having a lot of interest from other potential players... a crazy rabbit who keeps going on drug-fueled rants...
Welcome Mirth!

So, in light of a final time and place, would it be within the cards to get an idea of when the first post will be up?
Sounds good to me.
I'm fine with a 1900's setting, especially if it's not set in America. Not so hip on the steam-punk, but so long as no one pulls out a steam-powered light saber, I should be good.
Send me a PM if you're still interested. The vampirexdemigod seems right up my alley, if you've got a plot in mind. If not, I'm willing to work something out.
I've got no issue with the time-setting, so much as the undertones it might provoke.

Although it was about vampires and werewolves, Underworld seemed to go the sci-fi route as opposed to outright fantasy. Yes, some things were almost blatantly magic, but a lot of what they did with the cross-breeds and the like seemed more based in pseudo-science. In the final movie, though, the midevil setting always seemed to highlight the more fantastic elements of the plot, with even the most sciency stuff being treated as just another form of magic, in my opinion, anyway.

I'm really just more concerned with that being the case here, with the story seeing the monsters as creatures of magic instead of just some sort of theoretical divergent in the human genome. Basically, it really just drastically affects the way I'd play my character, and makes me question if I'd want to.
Wait... this is based in the A.D. era, before Christ? I'm confused.

This seemed like it was heavily based off the Underworld movie, so I assumed it was based in a modern setting. I don't mind, I'm just... well, confused.

Can I get an exact date? Also, if it's not modern day, how is Leo able to do some much with genetic engineering level experimentation?
Name: John Smith/ Uriel (John among humans, Uriel to vampires and close friends)

Age: Unknown, >3000

Species: Immortal

Appearance:
Standing at six foot, five inches in height, he has a broad build with well defined musculature. However, instead of seeming simply large, like some people do, his size seems natural, as though being any shorter would just look wrong. Though he has broad shoulders, he is not hulking nor are his muscles bulging. He looks more like an olympic swimmer than a body-builder.
His most prominent features are his snow-white hair, and ruby red eyes. In public among humans he often needs to wear contacts to avoid suspicion. He wears his hair long, tying it in a short braid that reaches the middle of his shoulder blades. While his eye color often draws people to his gaze, once they look him in the eye they immediately notice the large scar that crosses his right eye, running from his hair line to his jaw.
He has no facial hair, and the many scars covering his body prevent hair from growing anywhere but his head. While there are many smaller scars, the three largest are the one on his face, one running over both of his nipples, from one to the other, and one that goes from the top of his left shoulder to just above his right buttock. He has many others, most smaller slices no longer than a finger and no wider than his thumb, though they cover ever part of him at every angle.
Beyond that, he has a square jaw, pearl white teeth with slightly over-pronounced canines, and skin that is naturally bronzed. His nose is just barely large enough to not seem small for him, with a straight edge and gently curving nostrils. His ears are close to his head, almost unnoticeable beyond that they're there, with attached earlobes. He tends to wear simple though very high quality black suits and matching leather shoes that are perfectly fit to his physique while still allowing him full movement, and a single onyx set in a silver ring as his only accessory.
Generally a very reserved individual, his has a long list of peculiar habits and morals that seem as varied as there are cultures in humanity, with none perfectly fitting his sensibilities. He is generally polite, and good with people in any number when called upon, though his unusual mannerisms tend to incline people to think he's eccentric at best and insane at worst. However, his most unique feature is the ageless quality he has, which makes it difficult for people to place his age, thinking he looks anything from his early twenties to his late fifties.

History: Most of his memories are a blur to him, with his earliest being of a battle somewhere in the middle east. He remembers little about the battle, other than the distinct sound of horns. Beyond that, he can remembering living on every continent at one time or another, in every type or terrain imaginable, in accommodations ranging from palaces to none at all. However, he has no memories of his actual childhood.
His fondest memories are of his many friends, allies, rivals, children, and lovers. Many of their names and faces tend to blend together, so even though he enjoys such memories, he tends to become melancholy when he dwells on them too long.
Most recently, he has taken refuge among the vampire nation in order to complete his most recently staged death. He has known of vampires and werewolves for as long as he can remember, and has generally been accepted by the prior as a neutral third party where the clans are concerned. Though many consider him as inferior because he is not a vampire, many more respect him for his age and knowledge.
His relationship to Leo is that of a patient. He hopes that the experiments he performs might eventually lead him to being able to finally pass on his immortality to others, or at the very least help him to improve his memory to a satisfactory level.

Other: Being an immortal, he is little more than a human, physically speaking. While he does not age, is immune to diseases (vamparism and lycanthrope included) and heals at a rate that rivals even the most powerful werewolves and vampires, his other physical attributes are limited to those achievable by any human. Though in top physical condition due to a combination of training and a side benefit of his regenerative powers, his strength, speed, reflexes, and dexterity are all less than those of even a young vampire.
That said, years of combat experience-as well as the invention of his own unique fighting style that takes advantage of his healing factor-have allowed him to hold his own even against super-human foes. Though likely to loose in a contest of outright power, even elder vampires are cautious about engaging him in battle.
This looks like a very interesting story.

Would it be okay if I joined? I've got an idea for a character already, though it's a custom race.
