To all my players and writing partners; Don't worry! I've not vanished or forgotten you. I've had something come up, and will be taking the rest of this week off from my RPs. See you next week!

And the average to-hit of a CR 8 enemy is upwards of +15 on the first swing. He needs armor.
Yes, that's fine. He has three leafy friends. Spend that gold on something else. Your wolf needs armor and so do you.
Dark, buddy ... I don't know who you play with who tortures you like this, but I'm not going to take the cost of a literally random NPC that twig grew out of his back yard from your starting gold. Spend that money on items.
Strictly speaking, you didn't fail. You didn't meet the threshold for a complete win, but you did get two successes. Additional successes could have meant an even better result. As it stands, though, there was an investigation. It's on the books that someone died after a ride in her bus. That happens too often, and Elizabeth will need to submit for testing. The blush of life can go far, but a full medical review would risk the masquerade.

On a brighter note; I finally found a good image for Jesse! I'll get a full description up tomorrow, and post his opener then. Jesse's going to be in a race.
Unfortunately, no.

While two successes isn't terrible, keeping a man alive after a gun shot wound isn't a simple task. Elizabeth does her job, going through the full routine, keeping her beast in check despite all the blood pooling around her. Luckily she wasn't hungry, or she may have given in.

The man is still alive when they get to the hospital, but it's obvious that he's not going to be long. The shot resulted in blood in the lungs, and you simply did not get to him in time. While you managed to get him breathing again, the brain damage from lack of oxygen had already started, and the machines in the bus were the only thing keeping him alive. Of course, the doctors do their best, but by the time all the shrapnel from the bullet is found, it's too late. He dies on the operating table.

A review happens, as it always does when someone dies. But, Elizabeth did her job well. Kept calm, and really pushed to keep him from slipping away. It wasn't enough to save the man, but it was enough to keep her out of a drug test, and the physical that comes with it.
Also; Damn, wish I knew earlier that it would give you the breakdown of the dice rolls in the link. Did not know that.
Then mark on your CS in the CS section, here in the forum, that you have spent one willpower for the current story. You can then reroll three of those dice.
Alright, two successes. If you spend a point of willpower, you can choose to reroll three of those dice, as long as it's not the hunger dice.

How important is it that this man lives?
@Limey Alright, I'll need that composure + medicine roll to determine if she maintains her cool and does her job. As she's surrounded by appropriate medical equipment in the vehicle, you'll also be receiving an additional 2 dice to this roll.
I'm not against it, but 5 seems a bit excessive. Again, I get that it's just for fun, but what exactly does Twig hope to get from these things? Servants? Friends? People to watch his house while he's gone?

You're spending a great deal of money, something that Pathfinder as a system expects for you to spend on your character to make them more potent mechanically, on something entirely fluff based.

If you want to just say they're his friends, then you don't need to spend resources on that. Once we're in-game, sure, but it's not like one day someone just handed him a giant bag of money and went 'here you go.' If these leshy aren't his personal property, then they wouldn't really be counted against the 33k gold that's meant to represent the amount of random, powerful magical items a character should have by 8th level.
