On a serious note; Does Voth get any hits off the detect evil and good? He'll keep concentration for the full 10 minutes, so if any new fey gets close he'll have some advanced notice.

Putting the gnome onto the ground, Voth would keep his grip until he finished speaking. "You jump knife-ear and the beast'll jump you. You win that fight, then glory to you. Beast is dead and still not yours. Lose the fight and you're owlbear food. Won't be enough left to bring back, either. Doesn't take a guide to know if you got two paths and neither leads where you want to go, you find another path."

Bending down, Voth would whisper into Brutrumukk's ear, just incase someone present knew more goblin speak than they were letting on. "We keep the knife-ear close, and leave some food to trail, beast is more like to follow us than not. There's booyahg I can ask Grankhul to grant, next time we sleep. Can use it to help make the beast like us more. Tame it proper. You a bugbear, then act like it. Some stupid orc takes a fight without thinking. Grankhul taught us better."

I'm still intending to grapple him as an attack of opportunity as he exits my threatened reach. The mention of the ignored post was a comment I made that wasn't applicable to the situation.

I have to leave for work, so I can't write a post, but that is my intent.

My athletics to accomplish this is a 12.

My intent was to get the multi-ton animal to play fetch, then laugh maniacally at the results of a small-sized creature being inside the chariot attached to said animal.
