Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo At the prompt, Nasir hefted the small girl off his shoulders, and set her on the ground. Celes' eyes brightened as she scurried over to the counter. Looking over the Starter kit, she gasped. "Wow...! That's a lot of stuff. I really need all of this?" Looking over her shoulder, Nasir nodded in response.
Turning back to face the Shop Clerk, she beamed, "Thank you, thank you!" Taking the box, Celes' would stuff the entirety of it in her large satchel.
Now already trying to clamber up Nasir once more, Celes looked over the group, "Sooo.... what now? Where do we go from here?" Reluctantly, Nasir picked up the small child, and lifted her back upon his shoulders.

Focusing her attention on the Bayleaf, she replied with a lowered voice as to not distract the others, "Oh, um. Yeah I was. I'm sure it's fine though. I mean I'm fine and all. Just, uh..." Furrowing her brows, the Kirlia put a hand to her chin. "The Gliscor said he was sent to kill me though. Me specifically, which uhhh... doesn't make any sense. I dunno, maybe he had me mixed up with someone else..."
A few moments later, Glyph revealed the Totodile's secret, which didn't phase Lilisette one bit. Instead, her thoughts were now on that Gliscor from earlier that she had shrugged off so easily. Selena might be on to something. I can't just tell her there's no way someone could've known I existed though... hnnngh.
A wide smile played across his features. "Excellent. We should leave the city quickly before... well, before they're done. Let's go." Holding out a hand, Nasir waited for Itzal to take it.
The Team Flare Grunts scoured the Café. Someone must have tipped them off, since it was more than a 'let's just check here.' Given his illusion, Nasir was able to slip by them, and safely make it outside. The now brown-haired teen would take off towards where the alleyway was, stopping in his tracks when he caught sight of Itzal who appeared to be all right.
A flash of pink light overtook him, and he returned to the form of the black swordsman. "Are you all right?"

"...Ugh... such an asshole. Fine, whatever..." Wobbling to her feet, she glared at the Ariados before her. "I don't really understand why you wanted to kidnap some girl, but I'm not going to let you get away with this."
Wiping blood from her cheek, the Mawile's eyes narrow as she fixes her gaze upon the leader. "...Anyway, if you pull that Dig shit again, I'm going after you. K? K." Celty began to glow white while ripples of energy appeared above and around the Ariados. [CELTY used ROCK SLIDE!] Rocks materialized out of the ripples, raining down upon the gang's leader.

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo The battle near the Pokémon Center intrigued Nasir. Pausing, his teal blue eyes fixed upon the Espeon. The small child resting on his shoulders seemed intrigued as well. "...Wooow." Her voice was soft as she stared slack-jawed at the scene unfolding before her.
Only barely snapping out of her trance at the call of her name, Celes tapped Nasir's head before speaking, "Oh yeah, supplies! I should... probably do that. Mr. Black let's go!" With her legs stiffening, she would point towards the blue roofed building.
At her command, Nasir made his way towards the Mart.
Ranulf, however didn't follow quite yet. Instead, he was looking over the battle, and the two contestants.
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher Karaha stepped inside the ominous dungeon. As usual, it was filled with sand and a dry root system which wrapped about them like some sort of cave. In fact, cave may be the most accurate description.
The layout of the place had already changed since Karaha had been there earlier that morning. The path that lead downwards should have been in the first room, but it was certainly not. The first several floors of the Town Path were home to many Ground and Rock-types. Most commonly Sandshrew, Trapinch, Hippopotas, Drillbur, Baltoy, Sandile, Roggenrola and Aron. In fact, in one of the distant winding halls, Karaha could see the silhouette of what appeared to be a Baltoy. Should be simple enough.
Turning around to face the group, Karaha spoke softly, "As I mentioned before, once we reach the Waypoint, I'll be departing. However, I always cary a few spare Escape Orbs... I've been traveling much as of late. Before I forgot, who would like to hold onto it?"
Lilisette the Kirlia
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo@MagusDream Blinking a few times at the Togetic, Lilisette was overcome with concern. Perhaps they had a concussion? The Kirlia didn't want to embarrass them any further, but she was going to keep a watchful eye.
Ember's story about her missing father really struck a chord with the Kirlia. It was something she could relate with. Eyes downcast, Lilisette didn't say a word until they reached the Guild.
When the group reached Glyph, Lilisette's eyes lit up. "I-It's... really Glyph!" Gasping she simply stared at the Flygon with lips parted. Well, at least for a few moments until she managed to regain her composure. "It's an absolute honor, sir!"
The dungeon's entrance is a small cave made by the tree's slowly decaying roots which can be entered from the surrounding desert. Once inside, there are two paths to choose from; the easier path leading to the town, and a harder one leading down into the earth. The paths branch at a Waypoint. This Waypoint features a Deposit Box.
The path leading towards the town features 8 mystery dungeon floors covered with dry roots and sand.
The Town Path portion of Folio's Trunk features standard Floor, Wall and Stair tiles. The rooms are typical, and there are no special events on the floor save for a few Traps and Wonder Tiles.
Taking the more difficult route plunges the adventurer into the basement floors of the dungeon. There are 14 basement floors, and one Secret Room. Unlike the other path, this one features luminescent moss growing on the cavern's walls, as well as some traces of water.
Dungeon Breakdown Common Weather: Clear Skies, Rain, Heavy Rain Traps: Discord Trap, Emera-Crush Trap, Grimy Trap, Hunger Trap, Mud Trap, Poison Trap, Pokémon Trap, Slow Trap, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Sticky Trap, Summon Trap
Splitting off from the Waypoint is the Into the Roots portion of Folio's Trunk. It features standard Floor, Wall and Stair tiles, as well as Water tiles. Traps and Wonder tiles are also found in this portion of the dungeon. There are a few special events rooms including a Boss Floor, a Secret Room, as well as a Monster House.
This is all posted in the OOC heading thing. I'll be updating it there, but just so everyone gets a decent look.
All right, I'm doing the write-up for the Folio dungeon right now. Basically, there's a path at the top that has a feeling like...
That ^ and then once the dungeon reaches the ground floor where it would empty out towards the desert, there's another staircase that leads into the depths of the roots/oasis.
And would look like this ^. As for the opponents, they're all Pokemon commonly found on the Sand Continent save for the Gardevoir (who's not even in the roots anymore) and a Greninja which they will be encountering down in the roots. Other than that, it's mostly ground/rock/steel/fire/grass/water-types. I can give a species breakdown though. The overall difficulty in the 'easy' path is slightly harder than it would usually be. However the Pokemon in the roots are going to be extremely powerful, and there's going to be a lot of them.
Just so everyone's prepared on what's going to transpire down there.
Edit: I'm in the process of editing the dungeon descriptions to reflect everything. I also want to point out that I designed the harder dungeon to be an endgame dungeon so... :(
