The Ariados began to dig again, and the Mawile watched as her Rock Slide somehow fell around the hole and not into it. Holding out her arms, she stared at it slack-jawed. "Fucking seriously?"

Preparing to dive into the hole after the Bug-type, she paused when she watched an Absol launch into it. "Oh... kaaay then."

A confused expression crossed the Mawile's face as she watched the two battle. And then out of nowhere.

No, she sounds too angry to be— Pausing, the Mawile paled as her red eyes fixed on the Fairy-type before her. Fucking shit, she's a female too.

Averting her gaze from the Sylveon, tears began to well in her eyes as she turned around, preparing to round up the children and head back into town.

Taking the offered supplies, the Kirlia's eyes widened and lit up. "W-Wow, I ... I hadn't expected this." Staring at it slack-jawed she thought to herself, This is so nice of him. I came here with absolutely squat. I would've been left high and dry probably... It took a few moments for her to regain her composure, but her gaze fixed to Glyph and she gave him a quick bow, "Thank you! Thank you so much... this will help. A lot."

Looking to her new companions, a wide smile crossed her lips, "So we're all a part of Glyph's Guild now! That's so cool. Looking back to Glyph, Lilisette responded to his question, "And um, yup! Crystal clear!"

Turning back to Devon, Lilisette spoke, "I'm totally good to go; I can't really think of anything else to say or do here. We should probably train up. I mean, like Selena, my mom trained me pretty good too. Still though, extra training wouldn't hurt, and Devon, you probably haven't even tried to use a Water Gun, huh?" Looking the Totodile over, she laughed somewhat before continuing, "This'll be fun to watch, to be honest."

With a nod of agreement to Ember, she addressed Devon, "Yup! Lead the way Mr. hasn'tevenbeenherebefore! I mean, Selena and Ember could lead, but making you do it sounds a lot more amusing. Plus you're technically the leader anyway, right?"

Passing onto the next floor, Karaha remained quiet as the others discussed the situation amongst themselves. The Umbreon was far too aware of the dangers, but was also aware of very few Pokémon past the Waypoint who would speak to an outsider. However, there were a few.

Letting out a sigh, Karaha finally put in a few words regarding the situation, "It's... been a while, but I do believe there's a secret base halfway through the deeper dungeon. If Gren is fortunate, the one he seeks will be there. However..." Letting out a soft groan, he'd continue, "Under no circumstance should you reach Basement Floor 14. Granted, if your search leads you to Xicu... I... I-I do not know what to say."

Pausing, Nasir hadn't considered it. With his head hanging, he let out a sigh. "That's... true. If they saw you, then they're aware that you're close by. Perhaps we should hurry. If they... do come. I'll protect you. You have my word."

"...Oh?" Looking around, Nasir frowned. It's not as if he's actually been here before. Turning back, he addressed Itzal, "...Is there something wrong, Itzal?"

Nasir seemed surprised at the boy's words. "...The sun sets that early? It's... much later in Johto. Well then..." Looking back to his Trainer, he let out a small sigh, "I suppose that changes our plans..."

A soft sigh escaped the small girl's lips, "Well... I hope I can do a practice battle or something with Mist. She's not ready to do anything. You both said you've never battled either, right? Maybe we can all battle at the Pokémon Center! Ranulf can be the ref!"

A bark of a laugh erupted from the Dragonite's maw, <We have an experienced Trainer with us. Why don't you ask Devon?>

"Oh, true. Devon, wanna be the ref?"

Furrowing his brows, Olivier replied to the young Trainer, "I suppose you're right, there wouldn't be a registry..." Looking down at the computer, Olivier was at first confused at how Michael didn't notice, but then let out a soft chuckle. Right, he went to school for this. "Oh, well... if you look..." Pointing at the screen, he then continued his explanation, "Do you recall the moves Brooks' Feraligatr used? Let's see... First move was Fire Fang, followed by Aqua Tail, Earthquake and Crunch. Which of those is not like the other...?"

Nurse Joy's voice rang out, and and Olivier let out a soft sigh. "...Well, I should go get Libra. Apologies." Picking himself up, he took the laptop and delicately placed it back inside its case inside his satchel. "If you're curious where I was going with my previous point... essentially, there's never been a documented case of a Feraligatr using Fire Fang."

Giving Michael a courteous bow, Olivier headed back inside the Pokémon Center. "I'll be inside."

Pushing through the doors, Olivier would be greeted by a small Ralts who skillfully lept off the table to rush towards him. The tiny Pokémon wrapped his small arms around the boy's legs. <Olivier, I hope you didn't worry!>

With a wide smile, Olivier reached down to pick up his partner, lifting him up into a hug. "I'm so sorry, Libra..."

<It's okay! Really!>

Glancing to Wye, Olivier flashed a small smile, "Your skills are impressive." Taking Libra over to one of the various tables, Olivier sat the Ralts ontop of it, and began inspecting him. "Hmmm... you do seem much better." Checking his watch, Olivier sighed, "It's probably too late to leave. Are you all right staying here for a night, Libra? I have quite the video to show you, too!"

Libra piped up, <A video...?>

Tilting his head, Olivier shot the young Trainer a confused expression. "...Maybe I've been in school for too long, but as I recall there are only 15 registered users of Mega Evolution in Kalos, and I do believe those numbers are similar throughout all regions." Waving a dismissive hand he'd continued, "...Well, regardless, even if many are capable, there is still the issue of discovering a Key Stone, finding the required Mega Stone, and of course having a Pokémon who can even use the stone."

On the point of Feraligatr, he continued, looking at his computer and checking the school's databases. "...Hmm. Definitely not listed here. I guess I should probably send this video in so it can be updated..." In the meantime, he began to export the video in a lower quality. "Right, Diantha's the Champion. Well... I cannot say for certain whether Brooks could go toe to toe with her, but I would say he's definitely a Master's rank Trainer. The way he commands his Feraligatr, oh! Also..."

Sorting through the windows upon his computer, he pulled up the database once more, this time looking up Feraligatr; specifically its known moves. "...Do you see something odd?" With those words said, he turned the laptop to face Michael.

Nasir smiled at Brent's explanation. "...That seems easy enough. Well, if the surrounding Pokémon are docile, perhaps you three should get in some training before we reach our destination."

With wide eyes, Celes replied, "Oh no, you mean I have to... fight with Mist?"

The large Dragonite taking up the rear of the group let out a sigh. <Is that not why we took this journey? So that Mist could grow, and eventually evolve into a Dragonite?>

"Urgh, you're right, but like... just... I just... don't want her to get hurt."

The guised Zoroark flashed the small girl a reassuring smile, "I'm sure everything will be fine."

With those words said, Nasir made his way over towards Devon and began to walk beside him, with Celes ahead with Brent and Lily, and Ranulf slowly trailing behind.

Looking around as they continued, Nasir spoke, "Lily's correct... this does seem to be about as large as Goldenrod. Especially given it has its own airport..."
