Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

@Sketcher@Shiny Keldeo A small smile crossed the blonde's lips as he extended the hand that was previously on his trackpad. "...That sounds lovely, thank you." With a nod, he went back to his editing before speaking again, "I'll be sure to wake up early tomorrow. So you should be able to find me out here once you're ready to depart."
The newly arrived Trainer called out to someone, and initially Olivier ignored it, assuming he wasn't the one being summoned. After a few moments his eyes widened as he realized the teen was in fact talking to him. "O-Oh, Libra, have you been disturbing them?" Emerald gaze immediately fell to the downcast Flareon, and he let out a soft sigh.
Shuffling over to Libra, after Bryce, his head would be down as he replied to his Trainer, <I-I wasn't trying to disturb them...>
Putting a palm to his forehead, Olivier let out a soft chuckle at his companion's words, "...Oh dear. I know you meant no harm." Looking back up to the tanned Trainer he smiled, "A-Anyway, yes, Libras a wonderful companion. He's just a bit too naive... though that's no fault of his own."
With Wye now sitting beside him, he glanced over to the offered Holo Caster, deftly inputting his information before texting himself, a small smile across his lips. "There. Give me a few moments and I'll have this sent over."
Quietly working at his computer, he then turned towards Wye, "You know, I do realize why you'd want to leave tonight, but if you waited we'd be more than happy to travel with you. Of course, I'm sure there's someone in Vertigo. There's Trainer's everywhere from what I've seen here..."
Saving and then exporting the file, Olivier was finally happy with his edit. In a few moments, Wye's Holo Caster would go off. Looking up at the man, he raised a brow, "Is there a battle going on outside? I could film that as well."
As far as Ghost-types go, the only thing I can remember is when I'm pretty sure Ash literally died, and the Haunter pulled him from his body and had fun, before reviving him somehow. If you remember which episode or can find something, we can go with it. I can't recall it though.
Golden locks flow down Olivier's shoulders in varying lengths, some portions of it braided off to the side. From first appearances, from his large, feminine eyes, to his delicate features, it's safe to assume that Olivier is a young woman. However, he would be seen wearing a male academy uniform.

Personality: Olivier suffers from many deep-seeded insecurities, and as such can be emotionally volatile. At his core, he is a genuinely sweet, caring individual who simply craves to be accepted by his peers. He is incredibly competitive, however unless he feels his competency is being challenged, he can keep such feelings in check.
His weakness is cute Pokémon and babies. Cute baby Pokémon are SUPER EFFECTIVE!

History: Olivier grew up attending a variety of boarding schools. As soon as he was old enough, his parents shipped him away and never looked back. He attended school in Lumiose City for many years before being accepted into The Kobukan Academy of Advanced Pokémon Arts & Sciences.
Excelling in his studies, he was urged by his teacher to enroll in their field study program, which sent him out to a region of his choosing to train for a few months to a year before returning. With his now-evolved Kirlia—which was provided by the school for a final project of sorts—he is determined to be the very best.

The barrage of attacks was barely felt, but given the Bat Pokémon's speed, it was difficult to do anything about the situation. Glaring out the corner of his eye, he'd spin around in an attempt to knock the Crobat out of the sky with his tail, <Screw off!>
Preempting the Rhydon's ranged attack, Nasir had already started preparing a prismatic [Protect], however he wasn't able to fully form it before being licked by the flame's residue. Being pushed backward by the flame's force, Nasir glared at the Rhydon, letting out a growl, <It doesn't matter if it's not very effective, I'll keep widdling down your defenses until—> Red light enveloped the Zoroark's form, and his threat was never finished. While turned into energy inside the ball, Nasir grumbled to himself, Devon, what are you planning...?
Celes had been watching the battle scene with wide, terrified eyes. There's nothing I can do. Ranulf, I'm so sorry...
At Devon's words, and the recollection of his team, Ranulf realized they were on the path to retreat. Celes started running as soon as the Mismagius began her song, and the Dragonite realized that if he didn't follow soon, he'd be susceptible as well.
A few moments in, it was almost too late. It was difficult for him to determine which Celes was the correct one, but the Dragonite managed to grab her in his arms. Flying at full tilt, he headed in the safest-looking direction; towards the Pokémon Center.
Squirming in his arms, Celes cried out, "Nooo! We can't leave them! We have to go back!"

After he finished speaking, his gaze would briefly fall upon Gren, before panning to the Guild-members. "...Anyway, given this expedition is at Gren's request, it would traditionally be his decision whether or not Petra accompanies you. That is, of course, assuming Petra agrees to it."
Amber eyes fixed on Petra, he spoke seriously to her, "Petra. I understand you want to do something meaningful, however Gren's group is, traditionally, full. The Guild sets a limit, since traveling in a larger group is quite dangerous, and it's wise to follow such guidelines." Staring at the ground for a moment, he let out a dejected sigh; hesitating for a moment before he finally spoke once more, "Your want for adventure is quite strong. And... you wish to do something that ultimately matters, correct? Well... once we reach the Waypoint, I have plans to enter the Horutoto Ruins. In case you're not familiar, they're the ruins of an ancient civilization long since passed..."
Closing his eyes, his head drooped for a moment before he continued, "If you like, Petra, I will allow you to accompany me. That is as long as you give me your word that you'll keep our expedition a secret."

At this very moment the mention of the Gliscor wasn't even on his radar anymore. It certainly went along with the Sibyl's prophecy, and as long as it was alone, Folio was safe yet. No. There was something else at play here, and the Umbreon was going to get to the bottom of it.
