One who have eaten a Devil Fruit will have abilities, like Gomu Gomu no mi (Rubber Rubber Fruit) that allows the user to stretch, or Bara Bara no mi (Split Split Fruit) that grants the user to split into pieces. Devil Fruit users can't swim. There are 3 types of Devil Fruits.
Paramecia The most common Devil Fruit, grants the user varying ranges of abilities.
Zoan Zoan fruit users can transform into animals. Usually there are 3 forms, Human Form, Half-beast form, and Beast Form.
Logia The rarest type of Devil Fruit, and the strongest. Logias can transform into their elements, and most attacks would just phase through their bodies harmlessly. Due to obvious reasons, I'll be more stringent on Logia fruits ^^; ...
Weapons can also 'eat' Devil Fruits and have its abilities.
Trivia note The Crew needs a Navigator. Other than that there are cooks, helmsman, musician, sniper, and emergency food supply doctor. There can be more than 1 people of the same position, except for Captain.
@dragonmancer ~ Hmm... Siegred's strength is the strongest in half form. Would be better if he can spew Dragonfire only in Dragon Form. In short only the Beast Form's Breath can melt irons and incinerate ships. Other than that it looks good to me, will check on it tomorrow morning ~
@Melo ~ I was under the assumption that he can only fire those steel-melting flames from the mouth, and only his back has the steel skin, and that he may go berserk if its used too carelessly. Now that you mention it, its my mistake, I guess I read it too quickly.
Rightt, aside from the background, I'd prefer the strong point of the fruit to be the flight and the Dragon Breath. The burning armour, steel scales and the wing attack Tyrant's Reign will have to go, since flight is good enough to avoid attacks in a way. And for heat-based techniques like Weaponsmith or Infernal Weapon, it'll be better if they can only be used in human form. ~ @dragonmancer
@dragonmancer ~ Your char's ability looks more flashy than actually 'too powerful' or anything, and there's no issues on that part :X Just on a few areas on the Background, I think the crew would start before entering the Grand Line, but I wouldn't mind if everybody wants to start in the Grand Line ^^;
