I don't understand America when it comes to sick leave, medical, and annual leave. I get 4 weeks a year in holidays and have about 2 months worth of sickies owing to me.

Just gonna wait for Silver to post up her Character Sheet when she comes on. I did give her a suggestion for her Level Tiers and answers for an ability that she wanted to incorporate. After that I'll work out what to do with the first post and how to set up the story. I got work tomorrow so I may not be able to get it up until the evening.

There's also a few things I'd like to mention in regards to post order and such. We'll probably make it Max 1 a day (In other words not 2 a day, but 1 every second day is fine as I know time zones will naturally create lag with replies), and if possible leave at least 2 posts before you post again. It's a 'guide' so if you have to reply because of a certain situation, it's all fine. Just don't want someone to come back and see 10 posts and think, "Oh God!!!!!"

I will mention as well that in June from about the 3rd to the 20th I will be overseas in Japan for a much needed holiday. Hope you guys understand and are willing to not give up after such a long absence, but it's also the reason why I chose to have a Co-GM. When possible if I get Wi-fi I may pop in to see how you all are doing, but no IC posts from me during that time.

If I remember anything worth mentioning or you have any other questions just let me know. (Just a lot to remember. :P)

Appearance:

Most of the time Akio is dressed in smart casual clothing and is aware of his presentation. He has a set of black rim glasses that match his hair colour as his vision isn't quite perfect.

Bio: Akio is an only child who is still living with his mother. He doesn't have many memories of his father as his two parents separated when he was a child. This allowed him to have a very close bond with his mother and he looks after her whenever possible. The two of them moved to Westbay several years ago to start up a fresh life and allow Akio to attend the College he got accepted into. When he's not at College he works at a general department store and during his free time he can be found relaxing in his room with his laptop while listening to an assorted array of music.

Weapons/Abilities: A set of Dual Cannons that attatch under Akio's forearm. They are coated in a very high gloss black with red lighting to indicate when the units are active and ready to use. The units appear to digitise from a set of Knucklebusters like handles that he holds within his grasp.


Tier 1: Akio gains the ability to use these fast firing cannons. Each cannon can fire off a rocket at a designated target. They do have a slight homing effect similar to how a ball curves when kicked. His glasses also appear to gain a minimal HUD which will display information on some of his surroundings as well as his cannons.

Tier 2: By firing a blank, the dual cannons can be used as a small rocket booster which gives Akio a burst of speed, allowing him to perform a quick dashes or a high, bounding leap.

Tier 3: Akio can perform a charge shot that fires off a giant twin laser. This will overheat the machine and render it unusable until it has cooled down. Although not long, this will leave him almost defenceless for a short while.

The Dual Cannons only upgrade when Akio has found the data node within The Hack that will physically allow their upgrade. He must plug the firing end of the cannons into the node and wait for the software to be upgraded. Time will vary between the second and third tier with the later taking much longer.

MP - Corrupt Program

MP Category: Corrupt Program

Weapons/Abilities: This MP contains an Laser Blast Cannon and Energy Shield. The Energy Shield creates a force field around the MP that will repel several attacks. Between attacks on the MP for a brief window of vulnerability until it has recharged to full capacity.

Other Info: This MP has the ability to leap great distances and will occasionally attempt to stomp onto it's opponents.

MP - Worm

MP Category: Worm

Size: Large

Weapons/Abilities: This MP has an inbuilt, super super drill within it's mouth that allows it to dig below the surface of the earth at a very high speed. The ground matter that is crushed up can be absorbing into a reservoir and used as ammunition for an inbuilt cannon. When it surfaces it is able to regurgitate this matter at it's opponents, but must return to the surface after it takes a shot in order to regather enough matter for it's next projectile.

The creature also has several scythe talons on it's body and a bladed tip on the end of it's tail. These are both to help control it's movement but can become a useful weapon for close quarter combat situations.

While under the ground surface, it is able to feel the vibrations from it's prey's footsteps and can triangulate their approximate location.

Other Info: This MP is able to withstand extremely hot temperatures and because of this, had a thick hide. It also has a large amount of body strength allowing it to wrap it's body around a building and crush it within it's grasps.

MP - Virus

MP Category: Virus

Weapons/Abilities: These MPs have the ability to inject a venom that will corrupt a user's weapon. The User's weapon may malfunction of simply shut down until the injected virus can be removed. This effect will also extend to beyond The Hack where the user will feel nauseous once leaving, even if they logged out correctly.

Other Info: This MP does not act alone, but rather in a small group of several insectoid bots. They tend to hide from their enemies and try to pounce on them when victims least expect it. Being a hive mind as well, they have the ability to share information between their other insectoids through a wireless network.

Since these creatures swarm, it is highly possible for any opponent to be attacked by multiple insectoid bots. Great caution must be made as when multiple creatures inject their venom into a victim, the victim will begin to suffer more serious pains than nausea.

MP - Glitch

MP Category: Glitch

Size: Medium-Large

Appearance: Vaguely insectoid with six visible legs and a large carapace; however, it appears transparent – more of a hologram than a physical being. One large, dark eye rests in the centre. In this holographic form, its color is vivid red and its form often flickers in and out of existence.

If one should be so unlucky as to meet the Glitch in person, it is all black and sharp edges, flat planes with an artistic design. It often makes loud, earth-shattering noises which are much more demoralising and ominous face-to-face rather than through the facade of a hologram.

Weapons/Abilities: This MP as a hologram cannot attack directly, though it appears to have some sort of sentience to it – it has enough self-awareness to utilise the Hack itself and its environment to damage players. It does this by altering the code that makes it up. One might find gravity disappearing, or the cardinal directions reversed or the walls and floors splitting apart at the seams.

Other Info: Finding it and hunting it down may be difficult, though once there, its only defense is what it can do from afar.

MP - Spyware

MP Category: Spyware

Size: Medium

Appearance: The Spyware is a fully-sentient MP, capable of conversation and it even has the ability to mimic emotions. Humanoid in appearance, it's body is completely black to blend in with the walls of the Hack buildings.

Weapons/Abilities: It has the ability to cloak itself for short times if needed. In addition to the sword it carries on its back, it also has what appears to be a sidearm, which fires bullets of corrupted code. If one were to be hit by one of these bullets, it would behave much like a poison, slowly eating away at the code of the user's avatar. However, keep in mind, the sword on its back isn't just for show. The Spyware is also a very talented swordsman.

Other Info: As the name suggests, this MP spends much of its time analyzing and recording information of all sorts, whether it be very confidential information between businesses or government installations, or even emails between friends. What it does with this information is unknown, but what it has learned is what contributed largely to the MP's ability to behave like a human.
