The twin cannons began to print themselves into existence under Akio's forearm as he noticed another projectile being fired off in his direction. The boulder however never hit it's intended target as a flash movement glided past his side, wielding a length of steel that both glistened under the light and cut the very air that it passed through. A loud slashing could be heard as the sword passed through the lump of earth, sending the debris off into various other directions.

"If you haven't gotten your weapon figured out, run for it. I'll handle this," an unknown voice called out as Akio slid along his shoe soles to an improper stop. He looked back at both the man and the unknown creature.

> WARNING!!! Highly Dangerous.

Akio's glasses spat out a whole heap of information, placing holographic labels on the two targets with various other data that at that point in time made no sense what-so-ever. He gritted his teeth as he breathed heavily from the military grade marathon that he just ran. This stranger he was looking at had a proud essence to him, an appearance of composure and understanding of the dangers surrounding him.

"Oh, I know how these (cannons) are supposed to work, but for a first fight... this may be a bit out of my league," while speaking he noticed a warm sensation along his elbow, a trickle that dripped to the floor below. Turning to look at his shoulder he noticed a gash along his arm, the same side that smacked into the wall while he was running. Clicking the grip buttons to dissolve his cannons from existence, he began to set foot again while holding pressure on his arm to slow down the bleeding.

"It's not deep, thankfully," he breathed with a sigh of relief as he found some fire exit stairs leading to the top of a building, "but I'll watch this fight for the time being."

Ah, ok. It's confusing What you guys call some things. Great example is thongs where you refer to them as flipflops or something.

It's funny having a conversation stating, "we head down to the beach and kick off our thongs or hold them in our hands. Otherwise you get sand in them and it gets rather annoying."

Added a touch to the Worm. It can feel people's footsteps while underground. ;) Thought that would make a bit of sense.

Depending on what happens, I may be able to get 2 posts in before I go, but worse case I will have one and leave my character in limbo for a bit.

Akio crouched down as low as he could when he heard the wall surface above him explode open. All he could see out of the corner of his eye a large eel like serpent flowing out of the freshly designed hole and burrow it's way into the ground next to him. To him it almost moved like a ghost through the solid surfaces, both effortlessly and seemingly without restrictions with the exception of exploding debris showing each of the entry and exit points. As soon as the creature had burrowed away Akio stood up and set foot on his escape.

The streets were narrow and Akio was weaving around the corners in an attempt to place as much distance between himself and the creature. He could see the silhouette doorways for people's homes on the buildings around him quickly wondering if people were actually inside and whether they would be able to help him.

"Idiot!!!" he breathed under his panting breath realising that he was only just talking to some other people just before. Glancing down at his wrist Akio saw the last lot of text messages holographically projected across his fore arm. He wasn't able to read them fully as he was dashing around corners and grabbing hold of the edges to swing a bit of extra momentum.

It was all Akio could make out from looking at his shaky arm but it was enough. He held his hand up and hovered over the hologram keyboard, attempting to type in something. At that same moment an explosion from the ground behind him could be heard and the Worm leapt out of the surface, following him like a dolphin leaping after a fishing boat.

"Close enough..." Spell checking while running for your life was the least important thing to be thinking of and looking back he could see exactly what he was running from. With each leap the Worm showed off it's glistening 10 metre long body and each time it entered the earth it would open it's mouth in order to consume the dirt.

On it's latest leap the worm opened it's mouth mid-air and gave it's whole body a violent corkscrew spin, firing off a projectile at it's victim. Akio could see the projectile land next to him as he had just enough of a moment to shift his weight to one side, but the impact of the explosion had pushed him into a nearby wall. His shoulder cracked against the hard surface giving him a sharp pain through the side of his body. Stumbling for a bit and loosing some speed he pushed his feet hard against the ground in order to continue his painful run.

"I gotta do something," Akio held up his fists and clicked the glowing button on the side, allowing his cannons to begin to form, "I ain't loosing my first fight like this."

Well tomorrow I'm up at 4am for work, so I'm gonna wait til after that to make a post. Probably read everyone's posts tonight and think of ideas for tomorrow.

While I think of it as Well, any injuries should be treated like how the Matrix explains it, hence, if you get a cut, you will have a cut in real life.

also what is the difference in taking part of your rp and someone elses since i am here and curious

It's more laying down the foundations of the world, not the characters. GMing a role play is not quite like story writing. You need to give your players room to expand their characters. You could be the best writer in the world but if you have bad players the whole RP will suck.

You can take part, but your role should be more narrative. So sometimes you will need to write out of your character perspective and interact with ALL players.
