I think I'm cursed

Sadly it's for this reason that I won't be a GM of RPs anymore. The amount of effort I put into making some RPs only to have it fall apart after a short time just isn't worth it.

I think part of it is also what I will call action and reaction posters. There are some people out there that will respond to an event that someone else has created, thus making it so that they won't post until something has happened. So if you happen to have too many people that are waiting for something to happen... well, nothing ends up happening. :P

Example

Player 1: Opens door and enters into room
Player 2: Follows player 1 into room
Player 1: Encounters monster and fights
Player 2: Also fights monster
Player 1: Kills monster and is injured
Player 2: Ask "Are you ok?"

So, best example I could give, player 2 is reacting to what has been thrown at them, and thus player 1 is 'always' trying to drive the story.

Well. I'm sorry you feel that way. Tbh I didn't before use to lost like I do now. But I tried to take advantage of the opportunity since my other RP I'm in has slowed to a crawl. Pictures I can understand since I couldn't find one of senji without the collar for a while and when I did it was big. Also it IS a freepost. Post when you feel like from what I was told. If you want I can slow down. It just didn't help that I posted so quickly. But I would really encourage you staying. It would be fun to interact with your characters however in the end this is your decision. I'm not trying to guilt you into staying I'm just stating my opinion. But I'd definitely want to see you stay and not go

But I have to read all that in order to not Lore break, and then read all that again when it happens tomorrow, Friday and what's gonna happen over the weekend? I like to have Quality, not quantity.

5. Three Sentences Minimum
- As this is a casual Roleplay we expect 3 Sentences at the absolute Minimum. If you struggle with this then you can ask for help from either the GM's or even other Roleplayers -

7. Posting in the IC
- In this Roleplay we use a posting order to make sure things run smoothly. If your character is in a group then a posting order is needed. Person 1 posts, Person 2 Posts, Person 3 posts, repeat the cycle. Nothing like: Person 1 posts, Person 3 posts, Person 1 posts, Person 3 Posts, Person 2 posts. Aside from this, if you fail to post after 1-3 (MAX) days then your character can and will be skipped over to ensure the group can continue to move on. This is to ensure a good pace can be maintained in the Roleplay. The time decided to wait is decided by the importance of a post. We also ask that ontop of every post you do that you state which Ward your character is currently in as to avoid confusion and such-

Hey guys,

I'm sorry but after having a look at the IC, I'm gonna be dropping this RP. I've raised my concerns with @Kurisa via PM, but I think this RP is moving too fast for me. I don't want to enter into a roleplay where I have to resort to a side character like role because I can't get my post in. Within 3 hours there have been 16 posts of Advanced like writing, not casual, and most of them are from the same accounts. (4 from @FallenTrinity alone, and btw, your images on my poor laptop take up SO MUCH SPACE D: [CLICKY]) I just feel that it's unfair especially when so many of your entrants haven't even had a chance to look at the IC and yet it's blown up into something that's been dominated by a few people.

I am disappointed, a bit annoyed, but mostly disappointed because I don't have the advantage of being able to sit on a laptop for hours on end and continually write. Out of each day I only get about 4 hrs max of free time because of work and other commitments, and last night I sent a good hour or so creating a character, looking for suitable images and doing research to make sure it fitted into this world. I like my character. I liked the layout of this RP and the GMs and Co-GMs seem like good members. I was looking forward to playing Kaylin out and seeing how she interacted, but I'm not going to be able to comfortably use her when the amount of post that others make force time skips on me and don't allow me to enter the fray.

I know we will have a bit of a posting order, but as another suggestion, can we make it 1 post per person every 24hrs as well? I'm in Australia so by the time I get to post most other people have posted and with my busy schedule I don't wanna be playing catch up all the time.

may make a CCG character in the future. :)
