Personality: 
Quite the serious fellow who has one of those all work no play attitudes, and dislikes not doing anything to help out. This can come from his time working as a farmer with his family, where they were getting older and  as such he had to help out more. So slacking for him meant bad results in the sense of survival. So making friends was a tad hard for him as everyone thought he was kind of a party pooper. Yet while that’s not truly the case, he can't disagree that he rather work more than goof around.

Yet just because he is serious doesn’t mean he isn’t a nice person, in fact he is incredibly nice. Willing to stop what he is doing just to help you, should he think you are struggling. Should this be from simple labor such as carrying heavy objects, or to helping you out with a problem he notices. As such a good bit of peasants when he’s out in their district took a liking to him for his kindness. In fact that’s how he meet his deceased wife. Who and his daughter have been the only ones to truly see a playful side come out from him. However they have also been the only two that he would stop working and would hunt someone down if they mentioned someone was rude or harmed them. He once scared a child so bad he pissed his pants, for him calling his daughter a dumb freak for having two different eye colors. Granted this happened after Ayashi had passed otherwise she would have scolded him greatly.

History: 
Not remembering much of his early childhood years, besides from what his parents told him. All he knew was that they raised him to be a kind young lad and to help out around the house. Normally most children would hate this, but he saw no issue and did so without question. They were after all his parents who gave birth and raised him, having wonderful memories like the time he broke his arm jumping from a ladder thinking he could fly. Well…. funny memories anyway. Yet he worked on the farm with his ever growing older parents, gaining more work to do as the years progressed. It was hard work but he enjoyed helping his parents out. Besides sometimes they let him stop and relax although he grew to hate such a thing and would end up helping others out around the district. This ended up catching the eye of a certain woman who was passing through the district with her family.

Turns out the family did this every few months for business and she would end up watching him for about a couple of years, before one night sneaking out after learning his pattern to chat with him. This caught him a bit off guard since it was a noble families daughter, so he tried being really respectful to which she flicked him in the head and told him to be himself, ignore her title. Well this outright confused him as it felt awkward just having a normal conversation with someone far above him but he bared through it. This process would continue for years eventually along the way the two ended up becoming a couple, just a more so secret one. As her family would never approve, and she was right as one fateful night her mother who was clan leader followed her and would observe the two before confronting them, kicking Ayashi right out of the clan for such a disgrace.

Oddly enough this didn’t hurt her at all she was excited about such a thing, and was thrilled about not having to keep a loving relationship secret. He felt bad about it though and apologized but she flicked his head and told him to not worry about it. Mostly since she was going to be the one apologizing should his own parents flip out on him. Which wasn’t the case as they were so happy for their son, thinking he didn’t even have a friend so hearing that he had a girlfriend made his mother cry tears of joy. They were more than willing to accommodate her as well in the house. She was more than happy to help around the house as well, even being a bit better at the the chores Yu had done for years.

Many years would pass with the two becoming married. Yet instead of living alone they stayed with his parents as they weren’t getting any younger. Even more so when one day a Hollow would stray to far from where they usually roamed and attacked the district. If Ayashi and yu hadn’t gotten his parents out of the house, they would have perished from the house caving in from the hollow stepping on it. Luckily enough one of the shinigami helping out was Ayashi’s friend and managed to convince all his friends to help repair the house in no time at all, to which they were thankful for. Which also resulted in Yu’s new determination to help his loved ones, he wanted to be able to protect his home district and as such asked if he could sign up. He braced himself for Ayashi’s anger yet she seemed more for it than he was. She thought that if he ever meet one and how they helped out that he would want to join, its just who he was. He smiled though knowing he could never hide anything from his wife, she was much too observant.

So he would begin his training and would take his time studying the course, with much to his teachers surprise was quite good at every category they tested him in, his best one being Hakuda oddly enough. With a few years he passed the academy and was assigned to squad seven, to which they wasted no time in putting him to work, not that he minded though. He would do the work to the best he could and would send most of his pay back home. This was his new routine training, missions, occasionally visiting home and repeat. It only switched up when he became seated in the squad with more dangerous tasks being given to him. The pay was better so it was worth it to him, he could risk a few broken bones if it meant his family back home were better off. His most dangerous assignment ended up coming around when he was sixth seat, where he was to investigate this odd cave where this one man kept going to and from. It ended up being a lab of sorts, yet what hit him next came out of nowhere. Literally, when he entered no one was there and then he was unconscious.

Hours would pass before he woke up with a splitting headache yet whoever hit him was far gone, and then his head hurt worse and worse before white chips began forming on his face. He ran to a steel table and looked at his reflection to see a weird mask growing on his face with his eyes yellow. He also felt something fighting him for control, and it took everything to rip the mask off himself, which hurt like a bitch to do. He was incredibly confused about what was going on, knowing full well what that mask was. The voice in his head, everything. He gained hollow powers somehow, probably from when that person knocked him out and administered something into him. Yet if this was an enemy he was being very odd as he also left a note on the door exit with a silver bracelet saying it would control the hollow power within him. That it would also be wise to just inform the labs location and not the hollow’s powers he now had as he would most likely get expelled or dissected.

So he reluctantly burned the note and informed them about a secret lab but not finding anyone inside. The lab was destroyed and he was promoted to fifth seat, yet at what cost? He went home for a few weeks taking a vacation, and told his wife who didn’t care about the event and was more worried if he was okay. He would give her a smile and nod wondering just how accepting this woman was of things. A few years later his wife would end up having a baby girl, yet sadly she only got to hold her and name her for a few moments before passing away from childbirth. This destroyed Yu inside, yet he knew he shouldn’t lash out in anger, she would scold him for it. So he was given time away to take care of the child before his parents stated they would help raise her while he was working. He thanked them and would do as such but would always find it in him to take time out of his schedule to visit his daughter. For years he would keep his word as well.

Relationships/Friendships/Rivalries/Siblings:
Ayashi- The first love he had and married, passed away when giving birth. She came from a noble family and for falling in love with him was kicked from her clan, yet she never seemed upset about such a thing and quite enjoyed her time with him.

Ayame- His daughter, one of the few he would do literally anything for. She is oddly very organized for a child and loves to draw. Her other favorite thing is watching her daddy use kido cause she finds the colors pretty, that and pulling on his hair. 

Other: Still carries his wedding ring. Also has a silver bracelet

The black one which never has shown his human appearance.

Inner world:
Two paths through a forest that lead to a mountaintop each going a different path, yet both arriving at the same place. One a dim lit path which consist of many obstacles to get to the top, the other a bright and clear way, yet takes much longer to arrive.

Sealed appearance: Shown in his appearance

Shikai appearance:  Same thing just now one sword has a pure white blade and the other a black blade.

Bankai appearance: In Vizard appearance.

Shikai special ability: 
Able to swap places with any of his wolves that are summoned, it takes fifteen seconds though and is known by a white circle appearing under him and said wolf.

He observed the training grounds where he was holding the seated and unseated members kido lessons for the day. Normally the captain was suppose to do this, but the captain was sometimes unreliable and off putting, and for once not here. He was at a captain meeting so he and the other lieutenant were in charge while he was gone. "Kira don't release too early won't get the full powerful effect, Monaka don't hold it too long it will bl-" And before he could get the warning off it did indeed blow up with the woman flying to her back. "blow up.... You okay?" He asked her who just jumped back up and brushed the dust off her. "Yep just a few bruises!" She said before going back to her spot and resuming, to which he shook his head but smiled. "Well.. if you feel any pain just go to squad four. Don't want any risks now do we?" She looked over and gave a thumbs up before resuming, and he would continue to gaze at their progress. "Okay keep it up I'll be back in a few minutes. No slacking or else!" He said before walking off.

He was walking to another training field when a hell butterfly appeared in front of him giving him a message from the Head Captain himself, stating he would be going on a mission with the captains of squad five and seven to Hueco Mundo. He kept a calm composure on the outside but he was cheering on the inside. Yes!!! I get to display my skills to not just one but two captains! When Mayu hears of this, the water bitch will be crying her own river without her shikai!! He thought to himself and would go around the training fields and tell them he was needed and to direct questions to the co-lieutenant or Captain if he came back soon. After making sure they got this message he shunpoed off to the Kido Corps, assuming he would meet them there as the message said for them to arrive there. So once he was there he would wait outside until they arrived.
