Rules

• Adhere to the expectations of Casual Roleplay. Posts should be a minimum of 5-7 sentences, at least once per week. I know people have lives outside the forum; I personally have work, therapy, and D&D, so I won't always be around, but I will post at least once weekly.
• Actions you take as your character are considered to be automatically successful, unless done within the presence of danger or if the action has the potential of inducing danger, or if the action isn't something that can be performed without considerable effort ^{(or if you just want to do something funny)}. For these actions, whenever you write them into your post, be sure to color-code them using the hexcode FF6040, like so. I will roll your success for those actions, and that will determine how the story unfolds. Failure is not always failure, unless your character dies before their time.
• This doesn't need to be said, but follow Guild guidelines, and don't be antagonistic with each other outside of the game.

Character Sheet

Your character doesn't have to be anything in depth, but it must include the following:

• Your character's name.
• Your character's profession, if they have one.
• The reason why you decided to take the offer for the free two-week cruise aboard the HSS Panacea. This could be any reason - perhaps you're an overworked employee. Perhaps you're a retired elderly person looking for a little fun. Maybe you're running from the law... or someone that wants you dead.
• Three skills for your character - two that you're good at, and one that you suck at. If a colored action reflects one of these three skills, the corresponding roll I make to determine its success will be affected.

What kind of music do you make? What are some of the RPs you like to join?

We are glad to have you here and I hope you stick around, and find what you're looking for!

The music I make tends to be on the electronic side, but I'm not static in the genre. Sometimes it's ambient, other times it's drum and bass, other times it's house. I'm still trying to find my particular sound - which is difficult, but I'm getting closer.

I enjoy most kinds of RP, but I gravitate towards the big genres: sci-fi, fantasy, horror, etc. I'm kind of itching to get into a slice of life RP, and maybe even bringing an idea for a supernatural horror story to the forum, but we'll see.

I'm unsure what you mean, but I'll clarify a couple things, just in case:

1. It's all text; no maps, just theater of the mind.
2. There are no character stats. Dice rolls made by myself determine your level of success in completing certain actions. There are no flat-out failures; each failed task will at least present an alternate path, unless the task at hand might result in injury or death.

The time is now, and you've decided to take a vacation. You find yourself upon the HSS Panacea, a cruise liner boasting a capacity of just under 5,000 inhabitants and a length of just beyond a thousand feet. It's got all the amenities a customer like yourself could dream of, from an open bar to an all-you-can-eat buffet, casino to fully-functional water park, and beyond. For the next two weeks, you'll be in Cruise Heaven, listening to all the yacht rock your ears can take.

And the best part? It's all free, courtesy of the city's new leader, Mayor Robert Lazaretto. Be sure to head down to the ballroom for the inaugural night of this unforgettable experience.

Necrogenesis is all about a small group of normal people, trapped on an ocean liner in the middle of a novel outbreak of zombies and looking for way to escape. It's also about finding out why and how it happened. The zombies encountered here are different from your typical depictions.

How? Let's hope you don't find out.

Once there's enough interest (minimum of 2, maximum of 4), I'll draft up an OOC post with constraints for your character sheets. There will be dice-rolling involved, just not on your part. However, that could be subject to change in order to serve the RP better. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
