that actually makes a lot of sense and kind of works a lot lol, I personally would be down with the first idea there sense it is interesting and not out of the ball park for soul eater.

Loki would turn towards the new comer and chuckle some at her explanation for her question "you should work on your sleep schedule slightly there" he states "It was primarily just the basics of the Soul, I'd say first chapter or two of you text book if you took time to read some of it" he tells her, Loki would go to repeating some of the finer points that was stated in class.

made edits, added list of currently known magic related stuff (List helps me limit myself so I don't use to much magic and such without realizing it), and even added his home.

if you wish I can list all the magic he currently does know that he learned throughout his years. which I will limit to 3 types for the beginning of the roleplay so he can develop more throughout the roleplay learning more magic as it progresses. (and two of the three he wont even have mastered so lol)

Most people clearly want to do other things besides class stuff, I'm just stating the original facts from soul eater. So if you can come up with some kind of reason that would allow them to do certain things then I wont question it.

it's main thing is he can learn any magic, doesn't mean he instantly learns it or anything, and eventually create new spells (In ES you originally could spell craft before skyrim) he still has to study it for untold amount of time depending on what he is learning. If still think it's to much going to take a while to find something to replace it with since I love magic in itself

someone probably would of eventually mentioned the EAT and NOT classes should they of looked up some more detailed information about soul eater, I didn't even know about the classes and I've seen the entire anime series, so I probably would of eventually said something should I have read the manga or looked up some more information at some point in the future. so it's nothing to feel bad about. it's more to the decision made about them, you technically warned that NOT was not a combat course.

It's how the classes are set up so that's the main problem from having put them in the NOT class. which their Orientation exam was also combat related which kind of goes against NOT to begin with, among other things.. so at start they was kind of already being groomed for EAT except decided to put them in NOT when we got a teacher character. NOT by school rules aren't allowed to participate in such activities for various reasons. So since that decision was made only reason they can do missions and such under three conditions. One they sneak out (which probably gets most killed since technically most don't have partners in NOT), or a massive alert event happens.
So technically should of put them in EAT if you wanted them to do more than class related stuff and random stuff in the town. that's just the basic lore regarding Soul Eater. Unless you create a special event that can involve NPC EAT students doing something with NOT students, kind of like how @DarkwolfX37 suggested, otherwise they are kind of stuck.

They pretty much just take classes and live regular lives in the town. considering NOT is for primarly for non-combatants. so most don't deal with Kishin related activities. only EAT members do, same for various combat related events at the school. Since everyone is in NOT that means they pretty much just have regular every day student lives with the addition of learning about meister and demon weapon related things.
