She squeezed their hands, hoping her cold wasn't bothering them. Almost without realizing it, she started humming a tune her mother had always sang.

On a side note, I'm over here laughing at the Shipping of Dia. Mostly because I'm honestly not sure she can feel emotions like that.
Dia, Jideh and Zeke remind me of that 2 male, 1 female trio that's usually the focus in many preteen/teenager adventure stories. I wonder if it's a trope and if there's a name for it.oh my God, you're right. °•°
And yeah, I feel like there early should be a term for that.
