Alice giggled lightly at the rathole comment, her ears perking at what came next.

"Blood borne is an odd request, but possibly the simplest bacterial and viral ways to spread. Well, besides touch," she began showy, leaning forward. As she spoke, her words began to flow faster. "But pain without death, eh? Really needs to be viral, but taking it to a whole different level. Target the blood. Mutate. Target the nerves. Pain. Not necessarily an easy task. But possible."

"And in return?" If Whetstone was a personal space type, she'd find herself very uncomfortable at this point, as Alice would have closed her eyes at that last question, coming close enough to almost touch lips. "Because that's the real question here, luv," she practically purred.

Rose smiled as he paid for their bills, glancing behind him at his partner.

Decker chuckled at the question posed to him. "Coffee is best from another. You get to feel a piece of themselves, a chance to grow from taking in that sweet scent and taste that comes from another. Like sharing memories, but so much more poetic," he replied easily.

With a slight bow to Mikio, the two left the Tea Lounge.

Once they were several blocks away, Rose spoke.

"You think he was a Ghoul." It was a statement.

"I think he has something to hide," Decker replied quietly. "Did you hear the original statement?"

Rose left that hang in the air for a moment. "What are we gonna do?"

"Nothing, for now. But I've got my eye on him."

Decker looked at the man with narrowed eyes, his hand unconsciously opening sightly to finger the release on his briefcase. "I have to commend you, sir. Too few people miss a full breakfast before heading out," he said quietly.

Meanwhile, Rose was cleaning up their cups, bringing them to the counter. "Would I be able to get your card and a cup to go?" He asked gently. "I must recommend this to a friend of mine, I do believe she'd find it much to her liking.
