The Room

*Anderson scoffs*
Anderson: A knight!? You?! As if they'd ever let a female into a knightly order!
*He laughs rudely, which is the last straw for Silvan*
Silvan: Lord Anderson! I would have words with thee!
*Anderson turns to look at Silvan*
Anderson: What is it Brengest? What now?
*Silvan tears his Oakleaf tunic off his armor*
Silvan: The order has been dragged through the mud enough. I quit.
*He walks past a stunned Anderson to stand next to Jillian*
Silvan: I stand now with Lady Jillian, and Lady Coldstone.

*Anderson realizes now exactly who Mergoux is and takes a few steps back, paling*
Anderson: You! You are The Butcher?!
*Mergoux growls*
Mergoux: Aye. Now answer the damn question!
*Anderson swallows audibly, bravado weakened at the loss of a knight and the reveal of Mergoux*
Anderson: I- She- That is to say-
*He clears his throat and tries to look haughty*
Anderson: She has been convicted of 32 counts of murder! And that's all the ones we could prove she did! Not to mention the numerous assault charges, burglary charges and her escaping custody twice! She is to be executed at once!

The Room

*The knights all jump at the gunshots*
*Mergoux looks over at Jillian but doesn't object to the dishonorable insult*
Anderson: What've you done to my knight!?
*The knight staggers over to his companions and one moves to help support him as Anderson walks over to Jillian and starts shouting in her face*
Anderson: YOU DARE INSULT THE OAKLEAF KNIGHTS?! LITTLE GIRL IF I WERE YOU I'D SUGGEST YOU RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!
*Mergoux takes a half-step forwards, then stops, allowing Jillian to handle it herself*

*Iris nods*
Iris: That's a better plan! Good idea! We run to get Horus and let him take care of it!
*She smiles slightly and jumps at the gunshot outside*
Iris: OH! Erm... Maybe we should go into the kitchen...

Mergoux shrugs, rolls the bandit's corpses onto the small campfire and turns to Nebulius.
"I don't have a goal in mind, I was just wandering, seeing if I came across any scum like this that needed to be put down." she says, as the horrible smell of burning human flesh comes from the corpses.
"Anywhere you have in mind to go? I might as well tag along, seeing as how I still owe you."

The Room

*Mergoux pauses as the gun is aimed at her then shakes her helmeted head*
Mergoux: Fine. You don't need my help.
*She walks over to the Knight and grabs him by the throat to stop him writhing, before yanking her bolt out of his shoulder with a sharp tug*
*The knight roars in pain as Mergoux steps back*
Mergoux: You heard the lady. Get up scum, time to take you to your 'friends'
*The knight staggers to his feet, hobbling because of the footshot, and pressing his hand into the shoulder wound, trying to stop the bleeding.*
*He snarls at both of them and spits at Jillian*
Knight: I'm not done with either of you! I'll have you swinging in the breeze before this is over!
*Mergoux remains silent, moves behind the knight and gives him a kick in the pants to get him moving*
*The knight glares at them both with hateful malice and goes towards the outside*

*Iris holds Hanna to her*
Iris: Well, if someone bad comes towards us, then I'll pick you up and we'll run. Just like we ran from the lab okay?
*She smiles, trying to put on a brace face for Hanna*

*Anderson walks up to Lecter*
Anderson: What is the meaning of this!? You dare stand in the way of the Oakleaf Knights!?

The Room

*The knight's blade soars from his hand and he stumbles to the ground from the pistol whips. He rubs his bleeding face and bruised jaw angrily and starts to rise again*
Knight: I'll kill you for that you little bit- *There's a twanging sound, then the krrrnch of something punching through metal, then the smack of a heavy crossbow bolt slamming into the Knight's shoulder*
*He roars in pain and is knocked over as Mergoux strides towards them, slinging her crossbow over her back and drawing a long knife from the back of her belt*
Mergoux: Now you see what I mean?! These men are hardly better than those they pretend to fight against.
*The Knight is writhing in pain on the ground, hand scrabbling at the bolt, buried deep in his shoulder*

The Room

*Iris holds Hanna close to her, looking around wildly for whoever shot the gun*
Iris: Easy dear... Just stay close... We need to find what made that noise so we can stay clear of it

*The Knight roars in pain and collapses, holding his foot and swearing violently, repeatedly cursing Jillian's eyes, mother, grandmother and aunts.*
*He limps to his feet and glares at Jillian*
KNight: Alright girly! Let's teach you a lesson!
*He draws a longsword and stumbles towards her awkwardly, half-drunk and in pain from the footshot*

*Silvan is rapidly spouting excuses, trying to keep Anderson and the other 2 knights from going back into the room*

*Merg slips out of her room and walks towards the sound of the gunshot, hand on the hilt of her massive claymore*

The Room

*The Knight looks grumpily down at Jillian*
Knight: Piss off girly.
*Goes back to his drink. With his helmet off he doesn't look very knightly, unshaved and dirty*

*Silvan practically drags the other Knight outside where he's confronted by Anderson*
Anderson: Silvan! What is the meaning of this!?

*Iris sips coffee and walks out to the main room*
Iris: Hello?

The Room

*Silvan hesitates briefly then nods*
Silvan: I will... try, I'm not exactly the highest man on the totem pole, nor exactly well liked by the others.
*He goes to the library and starts trying to get the Knight questioning Elmyra out to the outside*

*Captain Anderson and his fellow knight converse as they walk outside to check on the horses*

*The last knight has slipped away for a quiet drink at the bar*

The Room

*Mergoux snarls*
Mergoux: Do as you want, I'll deal with them as needed. Just know that I'm not going to be the one throwing the first punch.
*Continues gearing up for battle, just in case*

*Silvan nods to Jillian politely then sees Lecter*
Silvan: Oh dear! Are you all right?
*He walks over towards him, then does his best to help Jillian*
Silven: What's a Mephisto?

*The Library knight promptly ignores Hanna once he's gotten the info he needs, and walks to Elmyra*
Knight: Excuse me mi-... Hm... Elf! Have you seen this woman?
*His tone goes from polite, to hostile as he notices Elmyra's ears and facial features*

*Captain Anderson and his fellow knight come out of the gym, having found no trace of Mergoux*

*Iris comes out of her room and stretches luxuriously, hair still wet from a shower. She walks towards the kitchen, not immediately seeing Lector*

The Room

*Two knights enter the library and see Hanna. One looks around the library, poking around behind shelves and searching for non-existent secret passages*
*The other walks right up to Hanna and holds out another wanted poster for Mergoux*
Knight: You! Girl! Have you seen this woman?
