Every new student has been gathered inside a large cafeteria, around you are the sounds of mewing, yipping, chirping, along with the occasional hiss and ribbit. In the very front is a raised stage with several chairs filled with people there was only two seats empty.

A woman with brunette hair and wire glasses walked to the podium in the center of the stage. She looked around at all the student and familiars as they talked and yelled causing a roar of different voices. She sighed to herself then looked back to make sure the principal was ready to address the students. “Can I have your attention please. Hello my name it Vice Principal Flockheart and may I welcome you to Quae Academy. I hope you will enjoy your time here, and now for a special man. May I present the Principal of the school Mr. Gunlock.” The woman said then clapped as she walked back and took her seat.

Soon a tall 6’ 3” man with snow white hair, and wire glasses appears from off the left part of the stage. He walks flawlessly with a book in hand to the podium. He sets the book down, and looks out over the crowd of new students. His body gesture suggests he’s bored though in his eyes betrays a spark of intrigue, he coughs once to clear his throat before he begins to speak, his voice was deep and calm.

“Thank you Vice Principal Flockheart for my pleasant introduction,” Principle Gunlock said. Turning only slightly towards the vice principal, before turning back to the students. Giving them his full attention.

“Welcome new students to the start of the journey that will take twists, and turns as you work to master your elements. These teachers behind me will be your guide on your new adventure. Listen to them, and allow them to help you. For they have sat where you are sitting today, worked through the dangers, and trials that you will face.
As you are all probably already aware your familiars have spoken to you, or in some way communicated with you. This is because your souls are now joined together, a glorious act that will last throughout your life, and after. These familiars will grow as you grow in strength as your strength is each others, and so too are your lives. For if one life comes to an end, so too does the other. So take good care of your familiars, and lean on them when you need strength. But, do not neglect to gather friends as well. As alone you are only so strong, but together with others you can move mountains, create tidal waves, control storms, and touch the stars…. Umm ahem I’m afraid I’ve gotten a bit carried away. Where was I? Hmm… Ah yes! Friends, and allies for the future. Look around you amongst the faces you see some may be your greatest allies. While others may be great rivals who will help you to get stronger by testing your limits.

Your classes will consist of the basic education which most schools have. As to ensure you are able to continue your education onwards towards college should the desire or need arise. But, most importantly this school will teach you the history of magic, and how your elemental power can be used in creative and safe ways with chemistry. Along with most importantly how to take proper care of your familiars. As to ensure they are, along with remain happy and healthy.

I’ve held your ears long enough please exit out those doors, and you will see tables lined up with teachers that will be passing out yellow envelopes. Inside is your class schedule, Room number and key, a booklet of Academy rules and code of conduct, along with a map of the Academies campus. Now I will let Miss. Flockheart excuse you in an orderly manner,” Principle Gunlock finished the a slight bow of his head with a hand over his heart.

He then took his book, and walked away while reading it once more avoiding anything that was in the way.
